Alright buddy... Let us know when you change tyre, which tyre and your feedback about it...

So I finally changed the front tyre about a week and a half ago. Did some research visiting a couple of tyre shops and I finally chose the MRF Zapper FX-1. Saw the Michelin Pilot Sporty, but it didn't look promising from the tread pattern and the overall look just didn't seem promising. Finally got the Zapper FX-1 installed from a nearby MRF Dealer. Loved the tread pattern and the grip of the tyre is simply too good. Cushioning is also impressive. Confidence while cornering has improved a great deal as the ride in corners never felt so smooth before. The tyre seems to have a good grip while braking on the tarmac. Haven't ridden on wet surfaces or dusty roads much so can't comment on grip in those conditions. I'm satisfied with the overall performance of this tyre as of now. Have only clocked around 400 kms with it until now. Hope it performs well as the days and seasons go by! Would definitely recommend this to all for now. :thumbup:

After reading lots of review specially this thread i bought my baby fireblade last tuesday !

le'me introduce me first. I'm arjun kumar c.s from thrissur,kerala. age 19 studying !

Started to love and ride bikes and scooter from age 13.


I falled in love with the cbr whenn it luanched.but,i was a minor back then. but dreamed about the baby since then!
The chick is too sexy, love her eyes !

Last january i got my driving licence and told my parents about a bike becuase i gotta travel 32km to the collage and i introduced cbr 150r but they said its too pricy and they have to stick with the budget. after forcing them for 3 months they agreed becuase my uncle said : "It maybe overpriced but its Honda"

Gone to srivari honda thrissur showroom on may 27 to know about the price and detail's straight from the honda guy's.
they expplained all the things about the bike and i came to understand all i was reading on interenet is true. I asked them about engine kill switch and pass light switch and they told me that the honda had tried amd said the swithes will make somekind of bad electric circuit or something! (that what they said, dont know whether it is true or not)

I selected the vibrant orange but they said it is'nt in stock, have to come from the plant. so they said to book my ride and it will take 1 month.
then i booked and i was sad becuase i have to wait for a month. But we demand the bike said them we need it so urgently.

After 20 mins when i was on bus returning to my home,one of the showroom guy called me and told they have the bike at they branch at aluva. they said the will deliver it on 30 may.And that call made me go crazy!


After 3 day's of waiting we gone to showroom early to buy her. but then they said they just sented a showroom guy to bring the vehicle and it will reach by evening.they also told me on june 1 all the vehicle price will be increased so, make the payment today or we have to pay more. In the evening we gone again to make the payment and to take her home. We made the payment and they said she reacher about 30 min's we got there. i was so happy. then they talked about the extra fitting and they said there no more, only buzzer and no.plate is available. i said i dont need a buzzer. then they told me about teflon coating and we agreed to do it too..

Then they said sunday is holiday and they only can make the teflon coating in monday and so was the Temporary permit ! they told me they will make the delivey at tuesday. And i waited for that freakin tuesday !

Tuesday i alone go to the showroom after classes coz, i only have to take her home. they said i have to wait 20 min's coz they are finishing the final coat.

And it taked about a hour and they called me and showed me my baby. I falled in love with my baby at first site !
The service manager told me about the services,and explained how to keep my baby more lovey.
They handed me the key and said all the best. i thanked them and gave shaked their hand with a lot of hapiness.


The Ride Starts here :

I was too scared to ride it becuase i was so happy and excited. It was bigger than i expected. I got into the bike and started too lazily and i was like Woooow.

I asked myself where's the weight ? Am i dead ? I did'nt felt the weight of the bike. i start to roll and clutch and gear make roar Woooow.
Engine too smooth, Cluth toooo smooth and brakes are awsome. I was riding too slowly and i notice every one on the way are watching the vehicle !


158kms Covered till today. I wanna know something more about from my experianced Rider's !



1. Its Six bar fuel indigator.how much 1 bar indigates ?
2.I Noticed mud is flushed into the radiator. Is any typeof radiator cover or mud guard extend available? what price it would be ?
3.Downshifting from 6-2 wont work all the way down smoothly.It will alway's stuck at some gear.i have to release the cluth a little bit and move to downshift again! what i have to say at the sevice center ?
4. Interval for chain lubricating !?

3)Why would you shift from 6th to 2nd in one go?? Its best to gradually downshift gears according to the speed you are travelling at. What you mentioned has happened on most bikes i have ridden, but only when i am distracted by something and forget to downshift when I come to a stop. I think it happens for 99% of the bikes out there.

Guys i have heard that CBR150R now comes with 18.5 PS of power.is this true??
