I don't want to upsize for one main reason - speedo error.
That's the only reason I would prefer to stick with the stock size!
So all recommendations of stock size only please!

Guys... What are your opinion about the new Pulsar 200 SS? I mean how do you think it'll fair against the baby blade given the similar pricing by bajaj....? The pros and cons of both the bikes when compared side by side..!!!

I would say go for Michelin tyres. Stock size is fine 100/80 R17. Bridgestone is hard to get, but if available go for Bridgestone Battlax, else Michelin. Michelin better than MRF in terms of grip and ride comfort.

I've heard bad reviews about the Michelin Pilot Sporty. Any other Michelin tyre you're referring to? Dad has given me a budget of around 2k. And he won't increase it much further because the TVS tyre is available for 1400 bucks. How in the world do I make him understand that the TVS tyres suck?! I'm already running on one and it's really confidence-shattering when taking a corner or under hard-braking!

Yes it is Pilot Sporty I am talking about. I did not read reviews about Michelin, I did not go to buy Michelin, MRF was not available anywhere, so I ended up buying Michelin. But then I rode the bike I felt the bike is more planted and comfortable to ride than the sock MRF I had. I have posted pics on page 370. I am talking about rear tyre by the way. But I have decided when I change front tyre I would definitely go for Michelin, but for you when we consider budget, MRF Zapper FQ would be the answer. I still use the stock FQ it is very good in hard braking and cornering. Check out this site to see tyre models and prices, some tyres the pictures won't come up so just type the model name in google and see how the grip pattern looks but the site will give you an approximate price

Hope all this helps you :-)

Hi Mates, one serious warning about the helmet hook present under the pillion seat. Don't trust on it. It gets bent easily on being pulled and your helmet can be removed from the hook without removing the pillion seat. Had a bad experience yesterday @ Cubbon Park Parking (next to Chinnaswamy Stadium), where i had gone to watch the IPL match Bangalore vs. Rajasthan. I lost my LS2 helmet, somebody pulled it off from the helmet hook. Worst, my friend who has CBR 250 also lost his LS2 helmet yesterday, the same way from the same location.

So, CBR 150, 250 owners, please be extremely cautious at places where you can't carry your helmet for some reason and have to leave it on the bike. Don't trust on the helmet hook.

                Hello all..
Guys.. I was thinking to install frame sliders on my baby blade.
So can anyone help me out with good sliders? Where to buy and how to install them on our mini blades?

I'm not sure but I think the bad reviews I read were related to the Pilot Sporty Front tyres. Don't know whether that changes anything, but yeah I'll give it a shot if my dad allows! It's my birthday month so maybe I can convince him to buy me a good tyre as a birthday gift! Thanks a lot for your advice buddy! Much appreciated!

I'm looking for a tankbag/saddlebags for my CBR which I can use instead of my backpack for office commutes and short weekend getaways. Should be able to store a couple of A4 sized books in terms of dimensions and should be easy to mount and dismount. Any suggestions?

                      Get Viaterra FLY GT.
Can be used as tank bag/ tail bag or back pack.

                      Ride safe and have fun.

Can it store a laptop as well? I'd like to consider that as well considering this bag would mainly be used for office commutes!

                          Not sure.
Try posting the query in Luggage thread and also go through that. Many members have posted there who have used it.

I too was sceptic about it, I asked the old alloy back they are delaying...

I go to the same guys always "Maanasarovar Honda" near Velachery Chennai. So i just wanted to confirm if they were lying.
How can they even do like that ( risking other peoples lives ) !
                            Thanks, krish2778 & Ivin

Ha... I got the bike back with the new alloys on.. whew..! Had to scold them... screw them for half an hour.. Ask them how they can bend an alloy with tools..
Then they said we will claim warranty on the alloy and change the wheel.. Seems some boy just dropped the wheel and installed it silently without the service manager knowing..

Also got my old alloy back... Any way the bend can be repaired.. ?
