this is the words from a cbr owner. you got it ?
i will ride my bike at its full throttle when road allows.
    110-120 is my casual speed
and in straight lines at the maximum

    @ B2W please test drive a 200ns & r15
    dont be .....
    are you from kerala?
    Then come to Malappuram
I will give you all three bike to test drive. OK?

have you confident in your bike's brakes?????
I feel my old unicorn is far better than my cbr in terms of torque (even 100 cc tvs star city ! )

Only +point is its smoothness. and "hats of" about it
I am telling you ones more,
    best power & pickup - 200ns
best handling in speedy riding - r15
best braking - both except cbr
    best suspension & rider's comfort - 150r
    best pillion seat - 150r
    best fuel mileage - 200ns
    best VFM - 200ns
Brother i mean 200ns is powerful than our 150r then why it can't overtake and beat my killer?.in your point of view 200ns easily beat us right?..i think tat 200ns guy didn't know how to ride 200cc....dont compare bajaj with Honda.i accept bajaj have so many models etc etc etc..but quality means Honda.my dad have 2005 Honda shine.odo hit more than 1,25,000 because daily my dad commuting min 20-25km.still we didn't face any engine prob..just two time changed chain set and suspension set.regularly we changed engine oil every 3000km.even now it can do 90km/h...but Wat about bajaj quality?within one or two year it ll lose their power engine refinement,smoothness...whether its foreign company or Indian company we need quality...if bajaj have power pickup etc etc then why they don't have racing clubs like tvs? My friend have pulsar 150 2007 model i beat him with my shine before one year.i never hate bajaj they have good mind i know but if they give good quality like Honda i am the first person to buy any bajaj bikes.....if i hurt any one i apologies for tat sorry..

Bro, there are lot of things to keep in mind. Maintenance of the vehicle, riding style of the rider, condition of the bike etc....While CBR250R is a good and capable bike, you got to keep in mind, it cannot beat a P200 NS in acceleration. However, having said that, it also depends on the rider. You will find numerous youtube videos of RTR160's beating P220, 200.
Also, as a vehicle gets older, performance also takes a hit, and if not maintained properly performance does come down drastically. This could be reason why your Dad's bike runs fine, while your friends P150 struggles. Yes, overall quality does come into picture, but, Bajaj bikes are not that bad as it is projected. I am running a souped up P230, and the setup just brings a smile on anyone who rides it even after 32000 KMs on the odo.

Dude, dream that prolink come to Streetfire! No way Honda puts that.

P.S: Im not bashing you. But seriously every bike has its limits. There is 50cc more in 200 NS. For that, there should be some more performance. A stock CBR 150 R cant outperform the 200NS.Serioulsy, Im a Bajaj hater, but some things like engineering cant be mocked. The driver is the one who changes everything. Even a good driver with a 200cc bike can outperform a 500cc bike with a bad driver.

              • HI all, i'm new CBR 150 FI rider just bought last month. Here is a few pictures.

My review until ODO 1200KM :

I reached top speed at 133km/h @rpm 9500 without tucking, maybe i could get 140km/h if tucking.

-For the accleration is a little below from any other 150cc motor sport. But i think, that's okay, since this is not for city ride.
-When it's raining, the radiator, will be so dirty, since it didn't have any cover.
-The chain is very loud, even after i checked the tension and lube it.
-Must be in 6000-9000RPM if want acclerating.
                -Milage is about 35-40km/l
-So far so good, but i will change the oil to MOTUL 5100 after 3rd service to minimize the sound when changing from 1st gear to 2nd gear.
-Very bright head lamp 55/60 watt.
-Have rear hugger, very useful when parking.
                -High revving engine type
-Because the fairing, this motor become wider. Makes me hard to slip between cars in city.
                -Rare rear wheel slide.
                -Machine is responsive because injection

Hye ! Welcome to the forum ! Nice to see your bike, the color does stand out ! Are you planning any mods ? Was looking around youtube, and people have also sorts of mods done on their CBR's ! Ya'l have lots of stuff available off the shelf. Here in India its rather hard ! Also, which tyres are those ?

I watched this bike during its first reveal in the Indonesian auto show itself. IT will have kicker(insert commute)for sure. But features like automatic headlight , prolink suspension will not be present. If they give prolink suspension to this bike, the current CBR150 R owners will be p***ed off. The specs will be adjusted to Indian market. Also as stated by you, if these features are present in the bike, the bike will sure cost more than a lakh sure!

I think now you became soft. Thanks
I had been used Unicorn for last 7.5 years.
My elder brother had Shine & younger brother had Stunner
Now all of us are changed.
elder brother changed to CBR150R, younger brother to R15
a few months ago me also changed my bike
I had 4 months of riding experience with CBR150R & 1 year experience with R15
So I know both bikes very well

Now you may understood my relation with Honda, right?
You know, why I didn't purchased cbr?
being an imported engine, its doesn't have value for money - in our opinion
spare parts are rare in our area. have to wait weeks!!!!
brakes doesn't give confidence. It becomes "sponchy". its a common honda problem. I dont know about SBKs
we have to rev up engine-more than normal- every time while in stop & go.

I am not giving pros - cons of new member of our family
because it is not "HIS" thread
I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!
So I can red line my bike all the time

I would only appreciate your writing skills to built up the suspense, but you should have posted this in hilarious/joke section. Every bike is built for a purpose & not only for drag races otherwise there won't be any Enfield or GS on the road. Avoid this kind of drag races on public road otherwise your 'killer' will live up to its name. Ride safe & feel the ride.
