Wheelbase is proportional in the following ways
.... inversely to the ability of the bike's one wheel to lift off the ground.
.... inversely proportional to the ability to weave
.... directly proportional to the turn radius
.... directly to straight line stability

The charcters may be very lightly influenced by wheelbase., but its one of the primary characters that defines a motorbike's characteristics.

Regarding the 250R and 150R seating comparo., both poses a different position...
See it for yourselves. 150R's pegs are set a little more aft than 250R's. So, on the long distances run, yu'll feel the differences.

But, for the seat height, from a google search link..,

    150R's is 783mm
    250R's is 784mm

The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

sorry to tell that.. still i have not got my CBR in hands.. booked my orange CBR on Dec 21st. i may get it in another 2 weeks. i was in a big confusion between 150R & 250R... now i have made up my mind with 150R. 150R meets with all my requirements. but only thing i dont like is some basic featues missing (pass light & Engine kill switch) and i read few post which says that switch gear & foot rester directly taken from stunner. that really makes me sad when i pay 1.4 lakh for a bike. sometimes i feel that why not put 30k more (though very difficult) for 250R. i dont know where i am going to end up. i am sorry for O.T.... i wanted to share this to somebody..btw.. how many km you have ridden so far? what is mileage you are getting..? we will meet surely.. i will let you know once i receive my bike....

Its okay. I too was with the same dilemma. To get a bike that is overpriced. But, I went with 150R just because of the TD. I just love to rev up and ride. The tall gears and the rev-loving butter-smooth engine is what that made me go for it. And I enjoy each and every moment on the saddle from day one. I always shift above 8k , sometimes redline her in narrow streets in 1st gear and that's a fun you can't get with anyother ride. Saves the situation to use a horn :P

BTW, ma Jade is at ASC for her third service now. Am 7.8k on odo, and getting a mileage of min 35 kmpl at any conditions, never less.

You don't get the knack. I booked my CBR150R in Kun and waited for a week, meanwhile i kept checking the availability with other showrooms also. To my luck, SVM Honda had a green one ready for delivery. I got it immediately. I would suggest you to call other showrooms ,tell them that you can take the bike with ready cash or loan already sanctioned sort of things. You can also tell your dealer where you have booked that you are interested in Duke or TBTS and would cancel the booking incase of further delay. You just take the happiness out from the dealer and they will surely give you priority (atleast to get rid of you). Got it?. They say "only the baby that cries gets the milk ".

Chain cleaning and lubing included in regular free service list. They didn't charge me.
My hi-low switch went kaput and so I had to change the complete switch gear of left side.
