Excellent sense of humour. I like it. But why are you still sitting there on the floor, looking up?

    • Hi everyone.
      I live nearby Chandigarh.
And i am looking up for cbr150r, i want to know from you guys that "DOES BIKE MAKE GRINDING NOISE, AFTER BEING ON BAD ROADS DAILY???" because my residential area is having worst roads.
And another worrying to my matter is that "DOES ANYONE OF YOU HAS MADE R125V2.O EAT DUST IN RACE USING CBR150R?? IF YES THEN EXPLAIN ABOUT RACING EVENT OF YOURS" i am asking this because i am quite lined towards racing..

      Please help anyone..

I just thought the dust settled.

        Anyways, coming to your query...
Why would you think that the bike 'll make grinding noise after being on bad roads?
By noise, what do you exactly meant.., from engine, from body-parts or anything?

And, racing part., these two are head to head performance bikes.
Though both have their own area of absolute excellence.
The Yam in Handling and Honda in Engine performance.
TD both and decide for yourselves.

For your reference, from somewhere in this forum... (not the exact words though)

The R15V2 and CBR150R are two performance machines, just for one flaw.
The R15v2's is a pure racing chassis setup with a commuter oriented engine.
The CBR150R's is a pure racing oriented engine with a commuter oriented chassis setup.
Plonk the engines of these machines in the other one's chassis., and you'll get two pure-function oriented machines
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

I dont know about the first query..... Owners will help but my thoughts it is a sturdy vehicle and nothing will happen if its for few Kms... And about the race..You wanna Race on streets?? If yes, Plz dont do it.. And you can make R15 eat dust with Cbr 150R... They both are almost equal in tracks..Though CBR has 0.8 Bhp higher power than R15, R15's higher torque and slightly higher cornering ability Makes them Equal.. May be if u are a pro Racer you can get a 1 or 2 sec lead if the track is almost straight and way too long for the Cbr to use that 0.8Bhp extra power... My thoughts, No offense

          Cheers

Dude, you didn't got me. I mean, does body parts or any other element make frequent noise after bad roads? And i have got TD, but problem is that yamaha people said that i can drive bike only in their showroom area can't take it to road. may be they don't have all papers or something else.
AND has anyone got switch gear changed from CBR250R?? if yes, then any problem or some experiences to be shared??

Yamaha R15 is not a new bike and there may not be one used for test drives. And the sound you mentioned is possible in any bike if ridden continuously through bad roads.
Here are all the relevant, unbiased specifications of the bikes you are considering. Test drive both these bikes and consult a good mechanic or somebody with an automobile/mechanical engineering background and show him these specifications.
Please remember that it is almost impossible or very difficult to go beyond or even reach the rpm of any bike – whether it is CBR150R, R15, GS150R, Hayabusa or Ninja - where it produces its maximum power.

As I stated earlier, we have 3 bikes for our 3 brothers.
                R15, CBR150R, 200NS

Many of them talking about high RPM of CBR150
I don't know the practical side of this
Please dont compare between these bikes
                they have their own personalily
I said it many days ago

& I think, by your reviews, I am the only owner of those thee bikes, right?
I know every pro & cons of these bikes

Surely, I can said under performance factor you cant compare CBR with R15 or 200NS
You will understand after test driving of these bikes

I dont know about dohc, sohc, closed loop, pgmfi, fi ...etc
                200MS gives me 43 avereage
                CBR150R - 39 average
                R15 - 35 average
                Same riding conditions

& 200NS is best for city driving
CBR150R is best for long highway driving
R15 is best for highway racing

pinion is comfortable with both R15 & CBR150R

Braking is perfect with both R15 & 200NS

Personally I like CBR for highway & 200NS for city driving
                both are different categories

                one more thing,
everybody says about your bikes top speed !!!!
How many people does full throttle biking ???
below 80 KM/hr is your average, right?
I think more than 90% of our members are from India.

for 200NS above 100 km is not stable at all
because they built it as a city bike & not a highway racer
& if you want, it will go over 150 km/hr (like flying)

It s better to put this post in the review of P200NS ... not here ...

I have one question . If 200NS is better than R15 and CBR in handling, performance, braking, fuel economy, then why you are keeping these bike ... Sell it and buy another 2 more 200NS ...

Fro your comments , I am sure that you are an owner of 200NS only .... Neither R15 nor CBR ...

In the 3rd para, you said you know each and every pros and cons of these three bikes ... And then in the 5th para, you said that you don't know any thing about sohc, dohc, pgmfi, closed loop etc ...

REALLY I CAN'T GET WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY ....

Dude, its extremely easy to hit revlimiter of most bikes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear (etc.) Some bikes like Duke / Pulsar 180 ug3 can hit rev-limiter even in top gear (6th/5th in both cases respectively).

Obviously, rev-limiter is much above peak power RPM on any bike.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Absolutely right! Add RTRs to the above list. Apaches are the every ready to hit the redline in any gear & in no time.

                          • Hi Guys...

Just wanted share few things to all...

its has been nearly 2 months.. i have not got my bike yet. booked at Lodha honda in chennai. sent some complaint mails to honda india on delay in delivery & asking extraa money than mentioned in website. because of that dealer is very angry with me. telling me to contact honda people for delivery date. honda india guys assured me in getting a bike by this month end. what do you guys say ? shall i continue with the same dealer ? if i change again i would have to wait for atleast a month to get a bike. Now i am very sad because i was thinking that i am going to be the first person in our office to have vibrant orange. but unfortunately i happend to see orange baby blade in our office bike parking today morning. superb look. it would have been really nice if someone come and told that Alwin here you go with your CBR and would give the Key to me... becasue baby blade was parked at my place where i used to park my old passion plus. dont know whether to be happy for him or not? because of the delay oftenly i am changing my mind to other bikes again would end up in CBR150R.

Here i would tell you the small example about attidude of the lodha honda manager.
2 weeks before i got to know there is one orange CBR arrived to lodha honda. i was thinking that it is for me and same day evening directly i went to the showroom from my office. by that time they delivered bike to someone else. i asked the manager he told me that he has booked before you (dont know true or not). there is one stunner black color is available. if you want you can go with that. i got really very angry. i controlled myself and said no to him. then i told my friend who accompanied with me to showroom that i am not ready to compromise even with the color but manager is telling me to take stunner. here i am not telling that everybody in showroom is like that. but most of them. what i feel is that honda should provide propper training for all dealers and their employees how to behave to the customer. in few visits i happend to see many disappointed customer like me in the show room.

ok.. coming to the question here for which i really logged in to the XBHP today...
Has anybody done any stickering job for 150R...? if yes please post the pictures of it guys (especially for vibrant orange).. and planning to put vehicle number in front wind shield as jomindolges has done for his bike (sorry.. dont know what to call that v-shape one above head lamp.. visor right ?) and orange strip on front and rear tyres. where is the best place for it in chennai.? additional infor there is one reposal edition of CBR250R going to be released very soon. stunning looks guys. by stickering we can make our 150R somewhat similiar to that. that is also one more reason why i am going for orange one.

Same here i also booked for orange color, it has been more than 45 days. I have booked it with 'Raj Bikes', he will sell all brand bikes, i think he is having links with all brand showrooms. He said to me that orange supply is very less, that's the reason am not getting my bike. he promised me that he will try to get it by next week. Hoping for the best....
