its has been nearly 2 months.. i have not got my bike yet. booked at Lodha honda in chennai. sent some complaint mails to honda india on delay in delivery & asking extraa money than mentioned in website. because of that dealer is very angry with me. telling me to contact honda people for delivery date. honda india guys assured me in getting a bike by this month end. what do you guys say ? shall i continue with the same dealer ? if i change again i would have to wait for atleast a month to get a bike. Now i am very sad because i was thinking that i am going to be the first person in our office to have vibrant orange. but unfortunately i happend to see orange baby blade in our office bike parking today morning. superb look. it would have been really nice if someone come and told that Alwin here you go with your CBR and would give the Key to me... becasue baby blade was parked at my place where i used to park my old passion plus. dont know whether to be happy for him or not? because of the delay oftenly i am changing my mind to other bikes again would end up in CBR150R.

Here i would tell you the small example about attidude of the lodha honda manager.
2 weeks before i got to know there is one orange CBR arrived to lodha honda. i was thinking that it is for me and same day evening directly i went to the showroom from my office. by that time they delivered bike to someone else. i asked the manager he told me that he has booked before you (dont know true or not). there is one stunner black color is available. if you want you can go with that. i got really very angry. i controlled myself and said no to him. then i told my friend who accompanied with me to showroom that i am not ready to compromise even with the color but manager is telling me to take stunner. here i am not telling that everybody in showroom is like that. but most of them. what i feel is that honda should provide propper training for all dealers and their employees how to behave to the customer. in few visits i happend to see many disappointed customer like me in the show room.

ok.. coming to the question here for which i really logged in to the XBHP today...
Has anybody done any stickering job for 150R...? if yes please post the pictures of it guys (especially for vibrant orange).. and planning to put vehicle number in front wind shield as jomindolges has done for his bike (sorry.. dont know what to call that v-shape one above head lamp.. visor right ?) and orange strip on front and rear tyres. where is the best place for it in chennai.? additional infor there is one reposal edition of CBR250R going to be released very soon. stunning looks guys. by stickering we can make our 150R somewhat similiar to that. that is also one more reason why i am going for orange one.
        Alwin,

This is attitude of 90% showroom executives. In my case, I booked the vehicle on 3rd week of march 2012 and got the delivery on 30 Apr 2012. Before that, they called me on 27th morning and I went there and done the full payment and they said that they will deliver the bike in the evening. They didn't call me after that and I went there in the evening with helmet to take the bike. After I reached the showroom, they said they couldn't deliver the bike because the temp. regn was not completed. Then next day, 28th again I went there to take it, then there was another technical issue. The cooling fan was not working at that time and they were planning to send back the bike to factory. There were one orange and one black bikes there at that time and they offered me to choose one of from those, but i booked the red only and i was not ready to compromise with my favourite color. On 30th they rectified the problem and solved it and in the evening i got my babe. I can understand your present feeling. It is very difficult to wait for something after booking.

I didn't like the style of front number plate. So I removed that and put a V shaped white vinyl on the visor and paste the number on that. I am having red+white combination. I put red rim stripes on front and rear rims, put red color seat cover in rear, milky white LED pilot lamps, White xenon headlamp, Roots antitheft central lock system etc. I have ordered some carbon fiber vinyls also. You can see my babe in my facebook, search " jomindolges " in FB. Those albums are visible for non-friends also... . I am planning to make an active community of CBR150R owners in FB...

        Yes dude,

I am from kerala and I have enquired about 150R in many showrooms in my native, and as per their reply , minimum waiting time for 150R was 6 months ( in last march ). Only bike available at that time was twister.

        unicorn & dazzler - 7 months
        activa - 4 months
        shine - 4 months
        stunner - 3 months

Who will wait 7 months for a bike. There are many people are doing another business with activa. They make booking of 3-4 scooters at a time and when some customer need urgently, they will give the scooter which they have booked. For this, customer has to pay Rs.2500 to that person.

Dude lodha sucks... First of all it doesn't even look like a showroom.. I would advice you to cancel the booking and go to Kun Honda at Adayar.. Very nice showroom and nice people. Atleast they take care of the customer.. That's what I want

Happy that you had good experience with Kun. Many dont say this. My experience was worst. When it comes to customer reception and etiquette i will vouch for SVM honda Ayanavaram. Didar Egmore is good in both sales and service.

I don't know about service... But I was totally satisfied with sales... First when I booked CBR before getting R15 ... The showroom guy used to cal me when a CBR of my color arrives... Asking me to do the full payment if I need that bike. Unlike lodha where they don't even welcome you inside the showroom.. I felt terrible..... Is this how you treat a customer who is gonna buy 1L + bike???? Thought all Honda showrooms are like this. Thank god others are good

Fro your comments , I am sure that you are an owner of 200NS only .... Neither R15 nor CBR ...

In the 3rd para, you said you know each and every pros and cons of these three bikes ... And then in the 5th para, you said that you don't know any thing about sohc, dohc, pgmfi, closed loop etc ...

REALLY I CAN'T GET WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY ....

                    am I written anything wrong?
I am not blind about my bike
I am not a techie. So usually I make googling about unknown things.
So as like many of you, I am aware about new technical features of modern bikes.
& I written in natural language about practical side of these bikes

I chose my bike by my riding style.
                    I am riding both 150R & 200NS simultaneously.
200ns for short trips & 150r for long trips (50 above)
I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!
So I can red line my bike all the time

Well...if you'd followed the CBR 250R thread (which ofcourse you don't need to, but still) you would've known that entire Chennai depends only on 2 reliable dealers; Didar Motors & JSP Honda. Otherwise, if you're on Facebook, your best bet, especially when you're from Chennai, is https://www.facebook.com/groups/ChennaiCBR250R/

IMHO, try to make up with Lodha Honda or simply switch to Didar/JSP; but for sure, get your bike serviced ONLY from either of these 2 dealers. All other dealers...most people have no say!!!

                            Dude..

First i thought if we book any bike particularly Premium bikes dealer would send the list of booked bikes to honda and colors required for their customer. and they would send bike in the given waiting period. but it is not so. every week or 2 weeks once honda sends punch of bikes to their dealers depending on the stock available with them. if your bike comes in that load honda dealer would call and give the bike to you. it can happen very next day from the booking or even after 3 months. there is no use of calling manager or sales people of dealers. even they response you nicely also they cant do anything on getting your bike early. if you are putting lot of pressure on sales guy then he would try to arrange from some other dealers in chennai. thats what happend in my case. but unfortunately my color is not available. so i mailed to honda india. he assured me by this month in end you will receive your bike and said i would take the special care on your issue. i must say one thing here if you have any issues please mail to [email protected]. you would get response within 2 days.
