      • Hello everyone,

I am Nitin and i am looking forward to buy the Cbr in a week. I have a small query regarding the bike...

my height is 6'2.. How does the bike feel for some one of my height?

Is it a bit undersized? will my back ache after long rides?

Thanks in advance This thread is helping me a lot

          Hi Nitin,

          Welcome to XBHP..

I hope you meant CBR150R here. I own this bike. it is an allrounder. From my view this bike seems to be bit under sized for your height. but compare to R15 this is much better for your height. i feel this bike is perfect suit for the guys of 5'6 to 5'9.
can you please list down bikes in your mind ? so that we can advice you which one among them will be best suit for your height..

          Thanks

Take a test ride of some good kms, this will give you more better understanding of the bike's comfort and suitability.
Back aches on all bikes only difference is some help in soon some later.

Are you looking for faired bikes only?

              Thanks Alwin raj

I have cbr 150 r on top of my list and i dont like the new R15 model.. I also had Pulsar 200 on my list .. But its the looks i am interested in and Cbr 150r is the best of all. I dont like R15 because of its bad pillion support.. I just want a good looking bike with decent performance and mileage like the CBR 150r .. i am interested in faired bikes..

              Thank you

                Thanks for the reply...

Yes i am interested only in faired bikes.... I wanted to take a test drive but the worst fact is there is no bike for test drive in our city (Vijayawada) and there is no display piece.. So i have to pay an advance and wait for 30-45 days .. I am not worried about back aches because i dont do long trips regularly.. I just want a bike that looks good and gives decent mileage..

Why to pay in advance and wait ?? Later test ride and then decide. This is all slow.

Can you go to some near places where you can get the test ride of CBR 150 and then decide?

As far as CBR 150 is concern it's a good bike with fairing, comfortable and family bike as well unlike R15.
Mileage figure can is searched in this thread or ask CBR150 owners.

again telling you CBR150r is an all rounder. sport look, good F.E, eye catcher, comfortable Pillon seat, not very aggressive riding posture. i am 5'7 height. My friend who's height is 6'1 used to ride my bike sometimes (you can see the picture below). hope it will help you to give clear idea . because you are not able to do test drive.

                      • I decided to change the brake disc oil myself because the SVC people are always deaf. My last service is due only 2 months later and I need to do a lot of trips. I decided to go for the DOT 4.

SO whilst changing, do I have to drain the old DOT 3 fluid completely or just I can add the DOT4 straight away.

                          • Yes you have to drain DOT 3 completely. Get help from your mechanic nearby. And please post your experience with DOT 4 oil.

Drain the dot3 fully if going for dot 4. Don't mix both fluid.
Do all the precautions before fluid change. It is a kind of job which is easy to screw up and tough to live with afterwards.
