I have 200kms on the odo.. just got my number yesterday..

I mean run in instructions on the owners manual doesnt mention any
speed limits.. In fact even at 125 kmph there was no vibration as such

Today I got a call from KUN Honda in Adyar. They said the bike will come in 8 days, but they want me to pay in 3 days. I insisted them that I will pay after I see the bike. The showroom guy is saying me to pay the money and He will change any parts if its damaged before delivery. Already there is a orange color CBR 150 but he says its for TD. My Dad is saying that he will never pay unless he sees the bike. Im really confused.

You just pick your bike ( after thorough inspection ) pay the cash , get the insurance paper , delivery slip , owner's manual , service manual , tool kit & first aid kit ( ask them for any compliments . " I got Puncture kit , RIM stickers and Teflon coating @ 3 rd service & 6 th service and two Yamaha Cups " ) and tell them that you will register your bike by yourself . If you want fancy number means , you have to pay Rs.2000 ( if you get your number by your own ) or else if you ask the RTO in charge in the showroom to get you a fancy number means , he will ask you to pay Rs.3000 . After you get your number , they will call you to take your bike to the RTO office ( in your place ) and then you can sticker the number in your Bike plate and you have to wait for 20 days to get the original R.C.Book in your hand . ( But , they used to give some alternative slip for R.C.Book ) . IF you don't want to go for fancy number means , the RTO in charge in the showroom , he itself asks you to give him a Ration card Xerox copy and after he submits your file ( it will take 2 days to complete for the process ) then they will call you to take your bike to the RTO office ( Note - Take original Ration card and '2' pass port size photos ) .

plz plz plz never ever give money to kun ppl without seeing the bike. They cheated me in every thing. After you see the bike take the engine or chase number then conform with manager about the bike. Because in my case even after noting the chase number they gave me some other bike .. i had a very very bad experience with kun honda.

Btw anyone got the bike shod with tvs tyres....? The tyres look good....but not sure about grip. But being tvs i surely doubt the quality

Thx for the warning! The showroom guy is saying they wont give the bike if i don't pay the money. I said to him at last that phone me when u get the bike. I opted for that dealer bcoz its the closest to my house.
My dad also said to me to note the TD bike`s chassis no and engine no bcoz its also the same orange color.

as long as you are enjoying your ride...you are good to go the best way to run in and ride a bike is to ride it just casually without giving excessive pressure.... Same pinch yesterday evening by 7 pm , i got my number ! NO speed limits for run - in period > This really sounds cool . I guess Honda R&D people them self , complete the RUN - IN period before the customer gets the bike in their hand

I was not even aware that the deliveries on the CBR 150's had started, until ofcourse this night in the last week. It was about 12.30 in the night and i was on my way home from work. That is coming back from south mumbai (prabhadevi) to north mumbai (malad west). I was on the western express highway and this stretch had about 4-5 lanes on each side if not more. Cruising at about 80-90 kmph in the right lane i see the this never seen before bike in the most left lane trying to cut across some traffic to over take. He finally managed to do so and i realized that it was a CBR150 and I was his target. Had a nice stint playing with the guy for a couple of kms and i took a turn to go towards my house. 100 more cc's and one extra cylinder proved a little too much for him to handle.

Where can I find a modest riding gloves in kolkata one that prevents pain in hands .. I dont want go for very expensive ones..

Dude i own R15 V 2.0 . The CBR 150 r comes with MRF zapper tires ( Source : Google )

i know cbr comes with zapper q, but its also available with tvs tyres. I dont have any source to proove it, but yeah i have seen it with my own eyes dude... the bike was shod with tvs tyres.
