    • My bike was supposed to come on thursday(which was said by the dealer). But when i enquired about it to them today, they still say the bike hasnt dispatched. Also he says that he will not give the bike before registration to me. the reason being the RTO Chennai is not allowing to do such things. Is it true?

The last part of the review was biased towards R15. The guy didn't even like to sit on CBR!
Who cares as long as you enjoy your bike.. Anyway its ok if someone
says R15 is better but, practicality?? this a lil hard to believe

I completely agree with the review except for the part where he says
R15 's pillion seat is better which IMO is ridiculous.. otherwise they don't seem biased towards either of the machines.

        • Practicality in terms of engine... Because of the better low end torque and the power which comes much lower down the rev range than the cbr.. No doubt the r15 engine is more practical... But as far as comfort goes its the cbr...very comfortable...test rode it yesterday from a friend... The riding posture of r15 is a pain... And that pillion part of the review was ridiculous...lmao... see i dont want to start a brand war now guys enjoy your ride dont care about the mags

            My views :
It is a good looking bike, the front is good like VFR but i personally dont like the rear of both 150 and 250R.
Most reviews i got is that it doesnt has kill switch and that lower top end is missing a bit. It means that its not very well priced, the price should have been less.

The review seems pretty convincing except the fact they claim
r15 is more practical A bike without a proper pillion sear, no grab
rails .. They even claim R15's back seat is more comfortable ???

                Yes Debanjan,

The review seems to be good but at the end when the guy said the pillion riding is comfort in R15 was like what the hell????did that guy even tried anyone for pillion in that video???..then how come is decided upon that???....i tried both R15 and CBR150 with my wife as pillion.....and she likes the CBR150 the most....

                    Hi Daniel,

I am a owner of the Orange&White CBR....but it will get delivered to me tomorrow. Don't get confused on colour...Just think which colour suits you and then go for that colour.

                    • I got my bike after first service today morning.. I had 475kms on odo before the service.. The minor niggles have been sorted out..

however, I had asked them to check the mileage to which I was
told we cant improve the mileage since its FI to which I countered
that I dont want the mileage increased, I just wanted to know the
                      figure...

The bike feels lot smoother.. feels like butter. I rode at 32kmph at 6th gear and there was no knocking at all. The bike did 72kmph at a relaxed
                      5k rpm.

I m quite happy with the service..

                      and 650 for teflon coating

PS. I saw another orange cbr 150 getting serviced. Got royal treatment.. There was a lotta queue and a junior mechanic
was writing out a job card while a senior mechanic came upto me and said CBR is urs I said yes, then he took special
                      care all the way..

Why such a rush to the first service any specific reasons?

650 for Teflon Way too much i think

and mileage how can they say man? Eve if they quote it will be under some standard conditions which we won be replicate? Users like you say the fuel efficiency figures to them and they spread the word, So being the first owners take the responsibilty

P.S: Still now I am not able to convince my friends I got 30 + on my Ceeber and a once 40+ because the word is Ceeber returns 25-30 0nly

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.

It was not that far on the map.

650 For Teflon coating? OMG! Ripoff. I got mine done last month for 400(which is a Ripoff in itself because it shouldnt be more than 350!)

Test Rode the 150R today. I have no idea why people say she doesnt pull and crib about the low torque, but having ridden both the rival 150cc bikes in a month's gap(both brand new i.e. R15 v2.0 and the 150R with around 200kms on the odo each), i certainly felt the 150R pulling my dead weight of 98kgs a lot better than the rival.
Not only was i comfortable but the bike when revved above 6k pulls almost as good as my 250R. The exhaust note is wayy wayy better than the 250Rs at high revvs.
Yes the bike doesnt like to be ridden around 3-3.5k rpm in topgear(or even say 4th and 5th gear) but i do not think anybody in their right mind would be cruising inside the city in 5th gear anyway.
In the traffic the bike was nimble, and handled briliantly. I absolutely love the way she corners since she is lighter than my 250.
When i first sat on the bike, i didnt feel the difference between the 150 and the 250 until i grabbed the handlebar which is thin and i looked at the Honda rep and told him how different it feels. He then told me to release the clutch a bit more than what im used to with the 250R, but it wasnt to be so. Quickly found the engagement zone and i setoff for a 20min ride both city and highway.

Overall: i think the console area couldve been a bit better. The ALL black finish somehow makes that part look dull in comparision with the bright body colours. I didnt feel the need for the killswitch at all.
The Side stand is a bit tricky to approach when ur perched on the seat. It took me about a min to push that thing down. A bit annoying.
Performance wise, i have no issues. I could see 72kmph coming up in no time in a short city stretch but i never got to see the topend sadly.
And Fit and Finish is as good as that of the rival. The plastic quality seems to be the same aswell. The seat is very comfortable for long rides. The engine does not feel stressed even when revved to near 12k rpm(P.S IS there no rev limiter on this bike?)
Did hear a lot of people yelling out CBR CBR at the traffic lights so yeah she is also a headturner especially the green/black combo. I like the headlamp assembly more than the 250Rs.
Overall a VFM product. The difference between the onroad price of the 150R and 250R STD is 30k approx here
                                1,40,000 for the std 150R
                                1,70,000 for the STD 250R
                                2,00,000 for the C ABS 250R

The ASC has a device for it. Today at the ASC one customer demanded to know the Bike's F.E because he said it wasnt anywhere close to their claim. ASC guy kept telling him that ARAI certified F.E is always more than what the customer would get in real world conditions but the customer wasnt going to believe it. So they said, they will test the f.e by evening and let him know.
