Yes commuting shouldn't be any issues. But, I guess one should get used to bike before riding for long distances. The seating position, gearing etc. are quite different from other bikes. But, if u are coming from say R15 kinda bikes
then it shouldn't bother you. As for 60 kmph speed limits are difficult to maintain. All I can say is that dont push yourself or the machine too hard
before you get used to it.

I give + 1 for sharing the true speed on specific RPM

      Drive Safe !
I didn't push it hard in lower gears, or could have reached 124kmph in lesser RPM.. Its just normal driving

I too did 105kmph in 5th gear 9k RPM and no vibrations

with a single rider it can do more,

It doesn't matter you ride solo or with pillion . The speed will not differ in specific gear and RPM . But only the time will increase , while you try to hit the desired speed with pillion . If you ride solo , you will quickly achieve the desired speed !

but in sixth gear bike revvs quickly..

Yes , you are right !

        Hey bro . I think you din't understand !

For example : My V2 did 92 km/hr @ in 3 rd gear @ 10,500 RPM ( Rev limiter ) . It doesn't matter that i pushed softer or harder . For both drivings on specific gear the speed will be the same on specific RPM only and only the time to reach the desired speed will differ according to your riding style . And i could do 92 km/hr in 6th gear @ 6.5 k RPM ( not sure whether it is correct or not , because i could able to do 100 km/hr + in 6th gear @ 7k RPM ) .
Always Ride with Complete Riding Gears and Don't Violate the Speed Limits

        • For the first time i rode my CBR to my office. Its a long stretch of 25KM from BTM Layout to Manyata Tech Park (Nagavara) with good amount of traffic blockage and my bike touches 100KM mark. It was simply awesome. I clocked 65kmph with ease but didn't went beyond that as the bike is still in run-in period. Some of the positive and negative things i noticed.

          Positives:
          ========
          1. Engine is pretty smooth.
          2. Pickup is very very good specially @ 4th Gear and above(it doesn't mean that the pickup is bad till 3rd gear ).
          3. Braking is superb as due to traffic i had to use brakes often.
          4. Flicking in the traffic is so easy.
          5. Cornering is fantastic.
          6. MRF nylo Zappers are superb in road grip.

          Negative:
          =======
          1. Feel like having a engine kill as every time i have to switch of and switch on the engine, but thats not a big issue.(Think i will get adjusted to it in some time).
          2. The gear shifting some times showing problem, but i think it is getting adjusted to my riding style and ll go off pretty soon.

Not necessary. The ZMA does not have an oil filter.

                      • Can i ride CBR 150

                        Hi All,
I am pretty new to xbhp and not sure how to post and all - apology if am posting something incorrect or to the wrong link

have done enough reading about Honda CBR 150 and planning to buy one. I have a splendor+ with me now.
I always wanted to buy a good bike. am a novice about all these RPM or any technical specifications. Problem is, am kind of skinny - 5'11" tall and like 61kgs and always thought these kinda bike's wont suite me. so bought a car instead . not planning for too many long drives - may be couple of days to office in a week, which will sum up to around 30 km's.

Now - will this suit guys like me? am so damn confused
if you do what you did, you'll get what you got

My response was to Doga's "Every bike has one I think". The CBR does have an oil filter. Experts can comment on why a particular bike has/ does not have an oil filter.

                              Hi Mani,

the minimum waiting period ll be 7-10days as per the availability of the bike with the show room and the colour you want. If its not available then it might take 25days to 45days.

And i am from Bangalore as well but i bought mine form Saphire Honda (JP Nagar). Their service is good and u ll get your bike max by 25days from the day of booking. Sorry no idea about Planet Honda.

I think this will help you. If not we are always open to help

                                Hey Danny,

I have checked it with my ASC and they told that it can be done easily by spending around 1000 bucks, but if its done within the warranty period then the warranty of the bike will get void. So my ASC suggested me not to do that within the warranty period.

So i will suggest not to do it although it can be done.
