In every-day conditions the softer suspension, comfier riding position and better visibility courtesy the 55W headlight makes the riding experience that much better. Will I get one? I'm still in a dilemma between the 150R and the 250R.. Whichever one I go for, I'm sure I'll be happy. My Yammy has served me quite well in these past 22 months (37,000km on ODO and ridden far and wide) and I've realised that I needed something more comfortable. Will definitely take a longer test-ride, WITHOUT a pillion to finally decide.
Slightly confused about the conclusions mentioned above,
R15 has got more aggressive seating and most people recommends CBR 150R for regular commuting due to its comfy seating. Being owner of R15 you yourself must have noticed

Congrats on your new purchase ! Finally you got the little monster in your hand's . First get used to it ( seating position and learn to drive safely )

The showroom guy said to me that i shud never fill Speed petrol or anything like tat. Is it True?

Yup . He is right . Even my service dealer recommended not to fill Speed Petrol ! Never fill speed petrol . Just fill normal petrol or if you can afford Rs.79.xx means you can go with shell super unleaded !

      This was in the manual.
"Your vehicle is designed to cut off automatically stop the engine and fuel pump if the vehicle is overturned.A banking sensor cuts off the ignition system"
      Wat does that mean?

Even R15 have got this sensor ( i guess it is LEAN angle sensor , i don't know it's correct or not ) . If the vehicle falls down means the ignition system and fuel pump gets off and the electrical system will shut off , and Engine warning light starts flashing ..

        1.Torque is good. Extremely happy.
        2. I banked my right arm too much , so I got too much pain in wrist.
        3. Braking is sharp.

There won't be any harm in filling Speed or XtraPremium fuel! I have no idea why the sales guy told you that. The only difference between Speed and ordinary petrol is that Speed has additives that are supposed to clean injectors and stuff..

What you read in the manual is the lean-angle sensor. What it does is it cuts off fuel supply and turns off the engine once the bike leans more than a preset angle. This is a safety feature that prevents a fire hazard if you crash.

What I said about "comfier riding position and softer suspension" was about the CBR150R. I guess you mis-read my post. The 150R is most definitely an easier bike to live with than the R15.

I took another test-ride today and have begun working on getting a finance scheme approved. I've booked the Red-White combo (like Catchdebanjan). People who complain about the 150R's low torque should eat mud! It's an AWESOME lil bike! And remember, this is coming from a RaceConcepts modded R15 owner who's been enjoying almost 19bhp of power and 16.5 Nm of torque. Yes, my R16 is faster, but the CBR150R is so much easier to like with its comfort and smoothness. I touched 133kmph within a short stretch. Clocking speeds of more than 130+ will require a pretty long stretch of road. Anyway, Joel convinced me to buy the 150R and I think I will soon have the first RaceConcepts 150R in the world..

                  • ^^^ let me ask you something... How many times do you even notice the switch gear when you are riding? When you are riding (which is why you bought the bike), the looks, colour, switch gear all take a back seat as the ride takes over. Yes, the switches could have been better, having a kill switch would have been desirable, but is it such a big issue that its a deal breaker?

                    • The switchgear is bothering me because at this price, they should have given a decent one. Unicorn Dazzler`s switchgear is better than this.
I will change the switchgear after the warranty period because its important for me. ITs my personal choice.

Sorry for barging in again. About 8 months back, my bike tripped over while washing, on another bike. The only thing which broke was the pass-light switch. Since the left switchgear of P220 costs 650 bucks, I though I can work around it, learn to live without that 1 particular switch. I could live without it for a total of 8 days. Thats when I bit the bullet and headed to Probiking to get a new one.

The point is, you don't realize the value of something as long as that thing is not taken away from you. In other words, "Ghar ki murgi daal baraabar". Whatever argument you may give, in today's day and age with the traffic that we have, the utility of a pass light switch is irrefutable.

@Mulli, the warranty I guess is 32k km or 2 years. Good luck with waiting that long.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I agree it's a good machine but surely not worth 1.35lakh. It's of the likes of karma, in fact I feel karizma is better than this in most aspect. Unless they drop the price to below 1 lakh its really uh hu.

LOL You rode it below 5k and you expect it to show its true performance? The bike doesnt kick in till the 6k mark. Its essentially a slow commuter below 6k rpm and that is why you felt like it was dazzler!

The person who review it was not a fan of the VFR design at all.IMO it was own personal feel about the bike and was not like true expert review to me.
THat "Schumi"(lol what a name ) guy Enthusiastically reviewed his own personally owned KTM Duke lol. What do you expect?

Its not Over yet.. All proud owners of Baby CBR, I request you all to put a mail to [email protected] stating the same issue. Request for a replacement of Switch Gears for the Existing ones too so that everyone gets benefitted.

I hope together we can acheive something.

Will disagree with you on this one. No offense, but my personal opinion is that a mountain is being made out of a mole. My R15 is kitted with a HID & projector kit. Due to the wiring the pass-light switch is dysfunctional. It has been so for more than a year. My RXZ does not have a kill switch. My first bike (RX 100) did not have either, while it's competitor, KB100, had a kill switch, yet people bought bought the RX like hot pan cakes. Not one of my friends who had a RX ever complained about the lack of kill switch.

So the question; is it such a big issue that it's a deal breaker? I think not. From all that I have heard and read about the bike, it's a very well engineered bike. For anyone who is interested in hot rodding, it provides a better platform and base for future performance upgrades than the R15. It has some serious potential. Let's say that this bike is Honda's take of its car that is performance enthusiast first choice in this country: the City.

Once again, the above is a personal opinion and do not mean to offend anyone in any way. Enjoy your rides fellows, instead of worrying about the switch gear.
