I think you can do that but don't go beyond 60-70KMPH while in run-in. Debanjan can tell you better as he is using it for daily commuting to his office.Originally posted by danielmanickaraj View PostMy bike will be delivered in 1 month.. And am planning to go to office (which is 40 kms away from my house) by bike atleast 1 or 2 days a week.
can i ride 40 kms at a stretch during run-in period.. ?

You can ride as much as you can, No harm.. If you search the manual for Run-in periods "avoid sudden throttle/acceleration" is mentioned and nothing else about km per day or speed limit.. I rode 160km in a day in city and highwaysOriginally posted by danielmanickaraj View PostMy bike will be delivered in 1 month.. I live in chennai too, if you are driving sporty bike for the first time, i will advice you to get used to the bike and then drive in traffic.. chennai traffic is terrible, you cant flick easily if you are not familiar with sporty bike
Which color & dealer??

Hey Bro . Is this the true speed of this bike i.e. 124 km/hr 6th gear @ 10000k RPM ? Did you felt any vibration in and around the BIKE and do the Engine seems to be struggling , while crossing 120 km/hr + ?Originally posted by Sudhir88 View PostI did 124km 6th gear 10000rpm (Tambaram bypass)Last edited by [IN]BeTrayedxD; 06-01-2012, 02:35 PM.Always Ride with Complete Riding Gears and Don't Violate the Speed Limits

I never felt any kind of vibration or drag till now, to be true its asking for more revv, but traffic up ahead i have to slow down

I too am deciding on a 400 km ride on a single day during run-in. I will be getting it sometime this month. Thanks for the inputs fellow CBR owners.Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark

with a single rider it can do more, As for the revs cant comment on 130kmph at 8500 rpm...
but in sixth gear bike revvs quickly..
I did 106kmph once in 5th gear (i forgot abt the sixth :P) and the revvs were arnd 8.5k i guess if had shifted to 6th the revvs would have come down (correct me if i m wrong). And no there was no vibrations as such (i mean more than what it normally is)Last edited by catchdebanjan; 06-02-2012, 01:13 AM.Life is an Open Road For me..
