Few detail about the Bike Registration process and some things to do
mulli84
You just pick your bike ( after thorough inspection ) pay the cash , get the insurance paper , delivery slip , owner's manual , service manual , tool kit & first aid kit ( ask them for any compliments . " I got Puncture kit , RIM stickers and Teflon coating @ 3 rd service & 6 th service and two Yamaha Cups " ) and tell them that you will register your bike by yourself . If you want fancy number means , you have to pay Rs.2000 ( if you get your number by your own ) or else if you ask the RTO in charge in the showroom to get you a fancy number means , he will ask you to pay Rs.3000 . After you get your number , they will call you to take your bike to the RTO office ( in your place ) and then you can sticker the number in your Bike plate and you have to wait for 20 days to get the original R.C.Book in your hand . ( But , they used to give some alternative slip for R.C.Book ) . IF you don't want to go for fancy number means , the RTO in charge in the showroom , he itself asks you to give him a Ration card Xerox copy and after he submits your file ( it will take 2 days to complete for the process ) then they will call you to take your bike to the RTO office ( Note - Take original Ration card and '2' pass port size photos ) .
The End !Always Ride with Complete Riding Gears and Don't Violate the Speed Limits

Finally, you are enjoying "Honeymoon" but along with your friends..lolOriginally posted by catchdebanjan View PostI finally got my bike registered.. I loved the way it handles...
The balance in high speeds is awesome.. I managed to touch
100 in 5th gear.. Then again with my frnd at the saddle and me
on the pillion we touched 125 kmph.. The revs went as high as
10000 rpm... But no vibration no undue noise..
.. Drive safe..

I will try for one more test ride, although on first ride itself i got what it has inside at maximum. Riding a bigger machine for some time gives you enough idea how lower machines can perform.Originally posted by Sudhir88 View PostI may have cleared your doubts, its better to take a TD(without pillion) before you decide.. If it satisfies your requirement, goahead
I never took a TD, cause i was confident it will fullfill my reqiurement and Honda didnt disappoint me at all..
I was looking for a bike with superbike looks and performance. Ninja 650 is commuter and really looks too small. I mean nobody can say that it is a 650cc machine after looking at it. And all above that ninja is a sports commuter moreover GT 650 R is superbike look alike ( not at all a superbike)Originally posted by Super_SBK View Postone que. Bro why did not u went for ninja 650 instead of gt 650r?????"Pain is temporary , pride is forever"

every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Do you think speeds like these during the run in does any harm to the engine ? The honda owners manual doesnt restrict speeds as such right ?Originally posted by Sudhir88 View PostFinally, you are enjoying "Honeymoon" but along with your friends..lol

I mean run in instructions on the owners manual doesnt mention any
speed limits.. In fact even at 125 kmph there was no vibration as suchLife is an Open Road For me..

anyways try controlling your urge to burst throttle ,occasional burst is recommended but you don't need to touch 125 kmph on city roads,[rajarhat i guess]and the question remains why do i race?

the best way to run in and ride a bike is to ride it just casually without giving excessive pressure.... The more you try to take care of your ride and try to find out small issues the more you get into trouble... Leave it as it is and ride it casually..
enjoy your ride and update us

it is no brainer that tvs will surely lack grip.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postno i meant to ask how this tyre is since tvs tyres are not good... The tyre looked quite gud though..any idea how the grip is? Is this tvs soft compound...?
and the question remains why do i race?
