I agree with you... i mailed honda regarding this 2 weeks before.. response to that i got a call from honda india 10days before. they said there is no upgrade in 150R (i was expecting the quality switch gears with pass light and engine kill switch in 2013 manufactured 150R). manufacring for 2013 CBR150R already started. if your dealer orders bike today to us then we will be able to deliver to them in 15-20 days. thats upto your dealer. he will try to clear all old stocks then will order for new bikes.. i told the same to my showroom guys.. if there was an old stock you would have given to me.. so when you make a order to Honda get me 2013 manufactured... he agreed too... 3 days before i got a call from dealer that please do pay full payment you can get your bike in the last week of this month...Originally posted by legend killer View Post

hey alwin that guy might be talking about cbr150 nacked version.. if honda launches new model then it will be named as cbr150rr. And honda wont launch any such bikes in india without launching in thai or other countries. SO waiting is not a good option, only bike rate will increase. Because i got my green bike from kun honda on 4th aprl for 1.36400 including every thing... And they said my bike was the first bike which was registered in tamilnadu..Originally posted by Alwin Raj View PostHi xBph-'s
This is my first post in this website and this thread. thanks to all who contributed their experience about cbr 150r. nearly a week i waited to get the access for posting my questions here.
I am happy to share you my joy that i have made my booking for cbr 150r orange color in Lodha Honda, Tamabar, chennai. today evening.. I have got the best price here after getting quotations from various dealers. the waiting period is just one month.. the guy who attended me in showroom was good in explaining everything. I need your help on this... that guy said there is an upgraded cbr 150r going to be released after march 2013. it will be with kick start. and it is not officially announced & he got the news from some where in the magazines. so i think it may come up with latest switch gear with engine kill switch and Pass light . if i get those features i am ready to wait for another 4 months also.. how to confirm this news.. ? thanks in advace..Last edited by nishit; 01-17-2013, 12:57 AM.

If looks, cash and mileage is not your concern then you should go for cbr 250r with abs. And if you are thinking of buying cbr 250r without abs then probably you should go for cbr 150r. I couldnt made out that much difference in power whati thought between both bikes....try to test drive both the bikes together and then decide..!!!!Originally posted by Alwin Raj View Postyes .. you are right.. i have already booked it probably in 10 days i will get in hands.. btw any advice for me on CBR150R.. i am still confused whether to go for 150R or 250R... i have booked 150R because the waiting period is 2 months and they will detect only 200 rs if i cancel booking...Last edited by nishit; 01-19-2013, 09:31 PM.

The claims of a vehicle’s or any other product’s manufacturer are not unquestionable at least in a judicial court. Honda’s claims are not yet challenged in any court; as far as I know.Originally posted by nishit View PostSee all this values are on paper. When you ride the bike it looks like under powered bike. And i said i didnt find that much power what i expected..

^^^Sorry to bump, but are you saying that 150R and 250R have nearly similar performance?
IMO, no. Not at all. Whatever be the specs on paper, 250R is much much more powerful. How do I know? I have ridden them back to back extensively in the last 25 days.
Need to book one. 250R has loads of torque and one can puddle around town easily without changing gears much. Sadly, this isn't the case with the smaller sibling.
150R is a scorcher on the highway, but still it never beats the 250R under any revs at any RPM.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Exactly , 250 is way too different than 150. 150 cant stand near the torque figure of 250. 250 wins in the torque part. I find my self the 150 is a little bit sluggy in the first two gears. But after that, its good. But both are great machines.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post^^^Sorry to bump, but are you saying that 150R and 250R have nearly similar performance?
