  • Re: Honda CBR 150 R

Friends.. i am facing strange issue with my bike.. Please help me..

As i have already told in the previous posts my bike self start was not working properly from past few months.. sometimes it doesn't start , i have to push it with gears engaged and release the clutch then it starts. sometime in one attempts and sometime with 3 or 4 attempts. last week it has gone to worst level. everyday day morning i had to do that. so i was really upset. my bike battery warranty got over just 2 months before. i directly complained to honda (not SVC) about it and told them to replace my battery under warranty since i have already complained about it to SVC 4 months before. Then got a call from nearest SVC where i used to do my bike service . i gave the bike to them and explained everthing. next day i went to SVC they said there is no problem with the battery .they have a instrument to check battery condition . in front me they have checked it . it is green. and they told me we have put the battery in charger as well for sometime. so you can take your bike and go home. but i was sure that problem will occur again in a week even told them the same. though it was raining heavily i took the bike and reached home (25 kms) . next day morning i got ready to office. i took the bike out from home pressed the self start button . bike did not start. WTF. then called and complained to SVC manager the same. i told him to use it for a week then come to the conclusion. now he has taken the bike from my home. i dont know what is he going to do..

Sorry guys for the lengthy story. i had to tell what happened actually. now my question is

    1. if battery is in good condition what could have been reason for bike not starting ?
    2. Because of the weather changes (cold start) it happens.? mostly i face this issue in the morning times.
    3. i am afraid . he ( SVC MANAGER) uses for a week but problem do not occur then what should i do ?

It usually gives the tak tak sound. Check to adjust your cams and valve gaps.
Hope that should do the good!

        Thanks bro

            • Imbalance issue

I am having a problem with my bike. Its like some extra 50kg has been added on the wheels.. i am losing balance while riding in all kind of roads and in all speeds. something is pulling the bike on either sides. Gave the bike for servicing 2 days back with all these complaints and no action been taken. will take the bike to service centre again tomorrow.

I dont understand what could be the issue. Is the tires to be blamed. ?

Please help ! i hate to ride my bike nowadays.

                        Congrats on your purchase .
Opt for a good quality Disk lock and you can use a traditional chain &lock (if a theif still wants to steal it then no one can stop him)

GPS tracker is now used in few commercial vehicles for tracking their location(not for safety) and it will work but not sure in a bike with a small battery .

Any electrical lock is pretty much use less and just an added gizmo.

A radial tyre differs from a normal tyre in its construction. A radial tyre has transverse radial plies within the tyre that run perpendicular to the direction of travel. Radial tyres have more flexible sidewalls, Reduced fuel consumption due to less rolling resistance, a softer ride etc.
For example, Yamaha fz has radial tyres. And yes they are tubeless.
