I had spoken to the showroom ppl...They informed me that spare parts are not available and It may take 15 to 20 days...I was told that the CBR sticker(the one that was damaged) individually wont be available soo You need to change the entire right doom(white colored one) which costs 1200 (cheap isn't it) and the black plastic/fibre(wateva)just beside the white doom which was also damaged costs just rs60...soo total its down to 1260....... Is it true,Is the cbr sticker not available individually?

Maybe it should be the other way... It was your day, yu are safe now!Originally posted by tejG View PostInfact I never went soo slow in that area before

Yeah bro! In most faired bikes, the fairing sticker will not be available separately. You should be buying the complete fairing! Happy that you and your sister are unhurt and safe! Drive safe!Originally posted by tejG View PostIs it true,Is the cbr sticker not available individually?
BTW, you can merge and post if your's is the last post! The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Haha I dint get that FAIRING word and I have been thinking from that time, thats wat mentioned it as doom
I'm gonna buy the fairing I have already ordered for it, It may take 15 days it seems...bro I have a quest, wat about the insurance? how to claim it and in what situations we will get the insurance money? I'm not asking for insurance money for these few scratches...It was a general infact a genuine quest from an ameteur rider

Eventhough we are safe, accidents do happen. But it seems like CBR is attracted to accidents. I almost was close to accident 5 times! Before 4 days , a guy who was standing in the side missed his helmet and it came straight to my bike.Luckily it got hit in the no plate.Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark

You are right. Even i had a narrow escape a few days ago. I was turning and a car was infront of me. He stopped while turning so even i had to as it was a busy road. Meanwhile, a moron cab driver came and rammed my bike from behind. I couldn't balance the bike and it fell down completely. I asked the cab driver to come out and see for himself if there were any scratches or not. I was very worried, but to my utter amazement the baby didn't even get a scratch. Just the front right mirror turned and the number plate took some beating and that's it. The footpegs seemed to have saved my day. Lucky me!!!Originally posted by mulli84 View PostEventhough we are safe, accidents do happen. But it seems like CBR is attracted to accidents. I almost was close to accident 5 times! Going OT due to my disappointment of Indian road discipline :Well, since scratch was not found, you may had to skip the part of asking money.......but still you could have done with a round tight slap on the moron face.Originally posted by akash3009 View PostMeanwhile, a moron cab driver came and rammed my bike from behind. I would have done so, if my baby had even a single scratch. It was his luck as well.Originally posted by MACH50 View PostGoing OT due to my disappointment of Indian road discipline :Well, since scratch was not found, you may had to skip the part of asking money.......but still you could have done with a round tight slap on the moron face.

Bro I got my bike after waiting for 2 months and 24 days in Chennai! But anyway people are now getting it under a month in here. So 2 months for you is correct.Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark
