There is provision underneath your bike's back seat. You can use cord type helmet holder.

Digital fuel markings are never accurate...
U tilt your bike to one side it will show more bars..
          Don't calculate based on that...
          Use reserve to reserve methodology...

          • Hi, I have done 700 plus kms. Time for 1st service. Please suggest a good service centre in Chennai. Ayanavaram is far from my home and is practically difficult to give the bike to them and get it back. I dont want to leave the bike for more than one day at the service centre. Please suggest.

            • Just came on Sunday to Chennai after a very long ride. Boy I never thought I will make this ride. Totally I rode 2500+ kms in my CBR 150.First it was really frustrating to do the journey. I took around 10 to 12 breaks for a 300km ride. Now for the Pros and Cons.
              Pros:
1.Got a very good average mileage of 42kmpl. I did a full tank and rode for 400kms and still there are 2 bars in the fuel meter.
2.Nice pickup. In the first ride, I rode for 60 to 70 km bcoz it was in the run in period. While returning to Chennai I was cruising comfortably. I did only max 99km.
3.Grab rails were useful to me. I used to hang all the eatables.
4.Climbed two small hills. Grip and maneuverability was good(TVS tyres) with the pillion itself in corners. Even in wet conditions, the grip is ok. The front braking is really good.Missed a car by mm. But still need to adjust the right grab rail as it gives me pain after some 50 kms.
              5. Never experienced any problem with the engine. IT never felt tired. I rode a fz-ss with my cousin and felt the engine was rough after 150 kms. It was not having the pickup and performance consistently.
6.The headlight was really bright and had a good spread. I have to take a village route since I missed the road to my native.

              Cons:
              1. The bike behaves very badly in crosswinds. I dunno whether its common for all bikes.
              2.My tachometer glass developed cracks
3.The suspension felt too hard for me. ITs ok when riding with pillion.
4.The TVS tyres are not that good in sand. I skidded two times but the bike was in control.
5.The gears were sometimes not properly engaged.
6.Damn the pass light switch. It was a lot needed for me.
7.The throttle became so tight in the return journey.
              Queries:

1.While returning to Chennai it was so hot and the engine felt rough after 80kmph. As I did close to 3000km, can I change the oil now or wait for the second service?( the second service is due one and a half months later)
2.Can I change the engine oil to FS?
3.Is the speedo console covered under warranty?

About mileage, from the day of purchase till date,
Jade had happily gulped fuel worth Rs.1800 and had munched 897 kms, so this comes to around 35kmpl !!

Chennai mates have to answer this!

About the crosswinds, yeah I too feel its more unstable, but once I tuck in.. No problems, everything's gone!! I dunno if it feels the same with all bikes at those high speeds.

Bro, service due is calculated with respect to both odo and months, so if you have reached either one, its mandate to service or else, it would void the warranty. There was same serious discussion some pages back, and it seems you are good to change to FS oils at 2nd service., and I guess speedo cover should be under warranty.

There is a helmet holder pin in the under seat space provided...

that displaced pin like thing, its that.

And since have spoken about the helmet holder, am posting pics of my own made loop holder as it was difficult for me to source one nearby.

The plastic encapsuled 2.5mm steel wire, luckily I got that in the same green!!

                Holding method

As my wire is little sturdy, not made for this, i have to bend it into shape before locking the seat in. Guess, it'll be okay with a market available one. And if the bike is going to be in your sights, grab-rails do the job nicely.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

                  Thanks for the pics Praveen..

But well... Am afraid..... this wire can be easily cut using a Cutting plyer !!

No bro.., I too doubted that.., but you have to see it in real, the plastic coat is so sturdy and the wire is thick to withstand to some limit. Its okay if you are parking it in places not so lone, that nobody notices one trying to snap it!!
Atleast, here in my town, as I can't get a company made one.

                    • Booked my baby CBR

I booked CBR 150R a week ago. I selected the black and green colour combination. They said that it will take one month time for the delivery. First i went to honda dealers near my location. They all asked for 2 months to deliver the bike. Fortunately i found a dealer who promised me to deliver within a month. They called me 4 days back and said "We have the Black and white colour cbr150R ready now. You can take it home right now". I replied them that i can wait for Green color.
I will post my review as soon as i get my bike. Thanks in advance.

Most phones can get a GPS lock even with flight mode activated. It uses data network only to get a GPS lock in lesser time. All GPS locks are primarily directly through satellite. 3G or 2G has no say in how accurate your GPS lock will be. It depends on the sensitivity of the GPS Antennae on your device. So, for best results, switch to flight mode, wait for lock (could take 2-5 minutes depending upon device) and then use a GPS tracker to track your speeds while you concentrate on the road.

+1 A GPS Device is a GPS Device, no matter if its embedded into a Mobile or dedicated Speed gun.
