Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Try googling VELOCITY CLIP.Originally posted by rohitv_happy View PostHi people,
Has anyone installed a mobile phone holder on their CBR150R?
I am in search for a suitable mobile holder (for a clip-on handlebar) and went through many different threads and posts, but didnt find one for CBR 150R.
Help appreciated.
I've bought one and have been using it in B'lore for mobile GPS.
Its very helpful. Its multi-role too..!
I bought it from a US ebay vendor.
Can share details if interested.
lemme know!

No., to the best of my knowledge.Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostIs the rear suspension on the CBR150R adjustable?

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Hi guys,
This is my first post on xBhp. I bought my baby blade recently in January and have already clocked 2600 km on it. So far, I am exhilerated with the bike's performance and am loving every second I spend with it.
By the way I am from Chennai and am looking for good spots for a one day or two days trip. Any suggestions?

I am from Chennai and I am soon planning to buy a CBR150R. which showroom did you buy from? How is the service here? Is the bike trouble free?
Btw you can try the whole of ECR, vedanthangal(bad time now because of summer), Tada falls and a lil deeper into Andhra which can be easily done in a day, to start with.
Cheers.

I saw it in choosemybike.in review that the rear suspension can be adjusted to prevent wobbling during cornering if the roads are lil bumpy.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been to Tada a couple of weeks back.
Here are a few pics I clicked then..
That's my baby blade folks.
And I will surely look into some place in ECR.
By the way, I bought the bike in Hosur, my native. But I have given my first service to Lodha Honda in Chromepet. They are responsive enough. The bike had some minor niggles but so far, nothing is hampering my riding experience with it. Loving it.
On the same note, there's a squeaking sound from my bike's rear disk break, whenever I apply break. This sound is almost non existent when starting the bike after a rest and is gradually increasing as I travel farther. The break fluid level is good and the disc pads are intact. My odo reads about 2700km. The ASC guy tried cleaning the break for me twice and it didn't help. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? Its merely annoying for now but I would be happy to find a solution for it.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
I've fixed it in the mid-bar between clip-ons on the other side of the Honda logo.Originally posted by rohitv_happy View PostHi Praveen,
Thanks for the info. Its a cool product.
Where have you fixed it on your bike?
Glad you liked it.
1. Pichavaram, don't take the ECR for entire route. Look in google maps.Originally posted by bobby89 View PostHi guys,

After cuddalore, there is still a road to the left of ECR almost on the coast, marked 'Coastal Road' in GMaps through fishing hamlets. Its a wonderful experience. Don't miss it.

Except for yaelagiri, you can find pics and log from the thread in my signature.
The manual doesn't say a word about it, neither the service manual of the previous carb variant.Originally posted by srinath2494 View Post

I doubt it to be., as our kit doesn't include the tool needed and also I can't find the adjusting ring below the spring (My suspension is currently muddy, so am not so sure about it
)

Maybe is the reviewer's fault. Who bothers until its fun on twisties! I saw your T'logs. you usually ride on hills. How does the bike pull uphill? and with a pillion on same roads? does it struggle?Last edited by srinath2494; 04-03-2015, 01:15 PM.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Hello CBR150 group
I have had a soft corner for the CBR150 for a long time now. I am aware of the obvious shortcomings of the bike : No passlight switch, switchgear not great, lethargic lowerend pickup.
I am curious to know if there are any others.
One sticking point is whether the front suspension is as soft as the CBR250R's. I am a fan of the R15's suspension and wonder if the CBR150 is setup similarly. Unfortunately, most dealerships are located on Main roads and any test ride is restricted to main roads and I do not get to experience what It feels like to ride in crowded and poor roads. So please respond specifically to this requirement.
I *LOVE* the CBR150's engine refinement and the reassuring clicks of the gearbox (this was observed on test ride bikes). Can members please confirm if the CBR150 retains these refinement levels after years like the Unicorn does.
Thanks in advance
