    I have noticed that when I let go of the handlebars at around 70-80kmph on a straight, they start wobbling (like in very minor tank slapper motions). This never happened till around 20k kms on the odo, the bike was rock steady on straights. The issue seems to have started recently (since around 22-23k kms). Have tested it on a variety of roads, but the results were the same. I checked the tyre pressure and looked for punctures but there are no such niggles with the bike.
    I'd like to clarify beforehand, that my problem is NOT that it is risky to leave the handlebars at 70-80 kmph because of the vibrations. We aren't supposed to do that anyway. I want to know what has gone wrong, because I feel this is affecting the stability of my ride as well, which could have severe consequences if I end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I wish to get her back to her original state ASAP. Please advise!

      Kindly check your steering head bearings. It's mostly likely the root cause of the problem.
      Second best thing to check is tyres.
      Have seen few similar issues with ninja 300 and changing the bearings resolved the issue.

            Hai... im also having the same problem. .. bike wobbles during breaking. Im also having some problems with the rear break. . ASC technician says break pad is ok but bike will stop 5-10 mts after applying break. .. front break is perfectly fine. .. any solutions please

              Hi guys how are you all doing?
              Just facing an issue lately sometimes i get loud noise like khar-khar-khar from the chain drive when i press clutch and hold while braking or changing gears. The chain drive is new and also got it tight but the problem persists.
              I hope someone can help me out here.

                  I have this problem. I also spoke to service center, they have no clue as to what is causing this problem. I feel 2 possibilities.

                  Like chans02 stated, it could be problem with the head bearings. I used to keep my bike exposed to sun and rain for the first 1 or 2 years of owning her and at that time I did notice a stiffness in turning the handle bar left and right. From center position if you move the handle towards right, first it is tight, once you turn it significantly then it goes smoothly to the maximum limit to the right, same way to the left as well. There is an initial stiffness when you start turning from center position and once you turn a bit, then it goes smoothly. But that does not explain why this swivelling happens when braking. That is why I feel there is another reason(atleast in my case).

                  Even though I had this stiff head problem, I never noticed a swivelling problem. It all became noticeable only after I changed the oil and oil seal of the front shock(right) absorbers. Initially when I got the bike I used ride with the same pace as I came until I reach a speed breaker and then I slam the front and rear breaks and a part of the speed is actually reduced by the impact of the front tyre on the upper inclination of the speed breaker. But that is also pressing the front shock absorbers to the maximum. Within a few weeks of doing this, the right front shock oil started leaking. The oil used to spill on to the front disc breaks and the front brakes were useless during that time as the oil will make the callipers slip. Finally I took bike to service center and got the front(right) fork oil seal replaced and filled new oil. Now as I understand the fork oil is a kind of oil that is compressible. I fixed only the right fork. The left fork had no damage so did not open it at all. I am guessing the service guy might have filled a slightly different oil or maybe the amount of oil he poured might be slightly different from the left fork. So when the front shocks compress, the oil is compressed unevenly when comparing left fork compression and right fork compression. So that would be wobbling I experience. Also, in my case the wobbling is minor when doing hard breaking but it is very severe if I go through a gutter. The bike will wobble left right for at least 3 times before I can make it come back to steady. Now I am used to it, I haven't bothered to fix it, the service people will waste my time, my money and my bike if I give for repairing things which they cannot the fault of.

                  Manu I am not sure if you ever had to change the fork oil, but I am sharing my thoughts here so if someone else had the same issue and knows a solution, please share it here....

                  My bike had this problem. All of a sudden everything electric stopped working except starter motor and spark plug. Anything required for the bike to run was running. Other than that, horn, dials, lights everything was gone. I did not notice the radiator fan though but I was mid way of a long trip so did not care to cancel the trip and we continued. My pillion and I bought a small pocket torch and stuck it to the back of the bike using cello tape and my pillion held a bright led flashlight over my shoulder. But I was riding using the light of the street lamps as it was a highway. Anyways after the trip I went to the service center and they found the problem was with a relay. It cost me 300 rupees to get it changed. That's all.

                    Thats a loads of information. .. I had serviced the bike yesterday. . They had tightened the stearing head bolt and chain... with this wobbling is almost nill now. .

                      Hey guys,
                      I am planning on changing the rear tyre of my 150R in the next few days before making a short weekend tour to Nashik this Friday. Being a cornering junkie, I am considering the Michelin Pilot Street Radial as I have heard a lot of good feedback of the tyre. I have 2 questions and need answers ASAP :-
                      1) A Michelin dealer has quoted around 5k INR for the PSR. Any other (read better) tyres I should look into? I don't mind spending an extra 1-2k INR if the rubber justifies the difference in price!
                      2) I have been using a Ceat Zoom 140mm tyre until now. Should I shift down to 130mm or is 140mm okay? Is there noticeable difference in ride quality, mileage, etc. of the 150R due to this 10mm difference in width? Please advise!

                        Okay, time for noob questions

                        1. How do you lock your helmet to the bike? Obviously I'm looking for links to products that help me lock my helmet safely to my baby blade.

                        2. I have read these posts frequently where everything in the ECU feels lazy to turn the bike on. Suppose the battery dies and I can't self start, what should I do to get it running in a remote place? FYI, I go on casual drives like around 100km from Hyderabad,to places where ASCs are atleast 40 km away. I know it wouldn't happen, but what if it does? Pushing the bike to 20kmph+ and clutch release isn't even close to work, the rear just skids to stop.

                        Please note that I'm noob as Navi and reply [emoji120]🏻
                        I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.

                          1) helmet can be attached to the cbr without any modifications!!!
                          Just open your rear seat , there is hook to attach ur helmet .after attaching close the rear seat and keep the helmet on seat!!

                          2)Don't think too much bro!!
                          Battery is strong enough...n cbr 150 have armature producing 0.24kw power at 5000 rpm..
                          So if u not attached any high power consuming appliance to cbr , battery will not die!!

                                Cbr won't start without self.. Due to it's pgm-fi!!

                                If problem occurs you can take battery of any another bike, start the bike, remove the battery, and attach your own battery without stopping the engine!!
