Getting a second opinion might be good for your case.
Hi Rahul. Have you posted your ride experience in Ladakh somewhere? I was always looking to read a travel log about the babyblade's performance in Leh-Ladakh.

I recently bought this sitcker sheet online..
50x11 8" DIY 3D Carbon Fiber Sticker Wrap Sheet Film CAR Laptop PS4 Decal Black | eBay And had them cut to design on the silencer cover. The sheet is of a different model, you can try to use it for the cowls if you find it nowhere.

These were difficult to cut in that shape and were hard to stick. It been about 4months with the sticker. And most people at the stops keep gazing at it, if not the bike... It kinda fades over time, and due to the recent floods here in Chennai, its been completely muddy. Had it washed today... but then when you think its time, You could remove it and redesign it again...! If you fall under the DIY kind...

      Happy riding..
Haha nice bro! Even I managed to get my hands on some carbon fibre sticker from my cousin. Tried to put it on the windscreen, which looked damn good, but it formed wrinkles on the other half of the windscreen which looked too stupid, so I pulled it off and applied it on the muffler cover after cutting it further and trying to apply it in all the places I could think of (because I just couldn't let it go to waste) :P
I also put it on the side of the dash. Looked damn good but never got a perfect cut and it started forming air bubbles so I took that off too!

The only part of this sticker that has stayed is the small spark symbol I cut out (again, to avoid the much hated wasting of this resource ) and stuck above each indicator.Click image for larger version

Wow man... the sparks do look good ! I like flames or pinstripes more...

Yeah the stickers glue does have an issue coming off on curved areas. Dunno what to do about it though...
Normal glue would effect the paint though. So I didn't wanna experiment more on it initially.
I have a spare silencer cover. so used all kinds or experiment on the silencer guard and it turned out good enough :-P :-D

I too have a roll inside my cupboard... Might use it when I get ideas

BTW NICE GEAR !!! looks awesome...

Guys can you tell me the cost of Teflon coating at your local Honda service center?
Here in Gandhinagar (Royal motors, sector-21) they take Rs.800 with one year warranty(=free polish while servicing or wash).

There is lot of noise from engine. ASC guy says bearing are rusted and need replacement. It will cost 35k for reconditioning the engine.

Can anyone tell me the approximate cost of the front mudguard? Vihaan Honda says it's around 850 bucks! I recently got the exhaust cover changed and that costed 829/- inclusive of all taxes. How can a piece of fibre be costlier than a larger piece of metal?! 😐

Front mudguard of most Honda motorcycles cost somewhere around 750-800. Try checking with Sai Point Panchpakhadi

                              Ouch, that is just sad.
I guess the only option you have is to get it repainted.
Or you could look into some good tank grip pads which would cover the scratched area and also add some utility to your ride.

I asked the Honda ASC guys (Vihaan Honda) to order the Carbon-Fibre printed accessories for me but they didn't have the part codes to order them.
So I contacted Honda Customer Care via e-mail regarding the parts and about a month later, they called and asked me to put the Parts Manager on the phone the next time I went to the Honda ASC and they would help me procure the parts. And the next time I went there, that's what I did. About an hour or two after I got back home, the ASC guys called me up and told me that the total cost of all 5 parts was 6,363/- which is really high for me.
Just the chain cover costs 1,818/- it seems!
So I ordered some Carbon Fibre wrap online and am going to do a DIY job on some of the plastics!

By the way, I got some headlight tinting film and tinted the indicators too!

A comparison of the three colours.

I plan on tinting the tail-lamp grey, but am still deciding on that.
