Re: Honda CBR 150 R
I don't think it is the fuel pump noise.Originally posted by abhishek.1 View PostI haven't noticed any dragging sound when the clutch is disengaged. Are you relating the fuel pump noise with an aeroplane? The fuel pump noise is quite evident on my CBR especially at idle, many people find this noise annoying but I actually seem to like it.
It sounds just like when you are at a very high rpm on a normal bike and u leave the accelerator. But the same sound at a lower rpm. I sort of like the sound but I'm doubting whether it is bad for my blade..

I think I know what you are talking about. When decelerating the bike has an aeroplane kinda noise and it does sound good. It happens on every gear you engage when slowing down. If you brake and reduce speed you may not notice this sound, but from 6th gear, shift to 5th(no brakes) and then when it is time for 4th, shift to 4th without using the brakes, you can hear that aeroplane/(KEEEEeeeeee) kind of sound on every gear you downshift to. My guesses are that it is due to the technology or sophistication that Honda uses commonly on all its 2 wheelers which is causing this sound. I find it a characteristic sound of almost all Honda 2 wheelers starting from the activa(In an activa accelerate to 80 and then just leave the throttle especially on a downhill, that aeroplane sound drives me nuts), unicorn all have that sound. Don't know what causes the sound, but that sound makes me feel proud that I am riding a HONDA... Never heard this sound on any other company's 2 wheelers.

Even I like that sound, it's quite evident when you downshift and pass through a speedbreaker at low RPMs. No need to worry, it's completely normal.Originally posted by Jakku View PostI found out that the sound is the engine braking. Re: Honda CBR 150 R
+1 to what jammbuster said.Originally posted by Jakku View PostCould anyone please suggest a place to hang small bags(groceries) on the bike other than the passenger grip??
Alternatively, you could invest in a magnetic tankbag which will make it even more easier to take on and off the bike. You will, however, have to be really careful about scratching the tank!

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
I want to do 'earth wire mod' for my cbr150.
Does anyone knows the location of rectifier (rr) in cbr150??
Many cbr250 owners claimed that after this mod better throttle response, less vibrations, slightly increase in fe.Live To Ride✌

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
My cbr's first service is tomorrow.
Planning to adjust a few things:
1-RVMs are too tight.Need to loosen them up.
2-Headlight beam is too high.Need to lower it.
3-Need to add Teflon coating.
Is there anything else i need to check?Any advice?
