Good choice by going for CBR, hassle free vehicle.Originally posted by rohith_a View PostHi All,
Looking between baby cbr and r15. But my mind goes more towards baby cbr.
Anybody please tell..
For pass-light, can I use the low-beam/high-beam switch?
Is that good for village roads? (i know it has great ground clearance)
How about its horn? is it dual?
Looking forward for your replays...
Thanks,
Rohith
As mulli84 said, you can't match the speed of pass light, but it can help sometimes, i have tried using the low-beam/high-beam switch.
I have used in some of the bad roads in blr and also in highways. It has very good maneuverability due to it's light weight and smaller wheel base.
Horn is ok, not dual, but will serve the purpose..Riding 17.6 horses out of which 5 horses work in the city and other 12+ horses wake up after 6k rpm and run after 8k rpm

That sig made me smile, so true about our baby Blade, not everyone knows about this bike's characteristics above 8k RPMs, we need to spread awareness. The sig is a good start.Originally posted by neobiker View PostRiding 17.6 horses out of which 5 horses work in the city and other 12+ horses wake up after 6k rpm and run after 8k rpm----------

hye !
I just booked my baby blade yesterday ! Planning to complete all the processes by Saturday and get delivery by Wednesday ! I cant wait, and it only less than a week away ! What really sucks is i have exams starting on Monday, which finish on Wednesday, and it is SO hard to concentrate and study ! I have gone for the red and white color scheme, and she already has a name ! Ya'l will have to wait for it though, I intend to start my ownership review with it. I just cant wait for the Amazing Amazing times that are to come ! Thank you all here for helping me make up my mind ! Cheers !

Congratulations on your booking. Take it slow, first things first. Finish off your exams without distractions. Vehicle is not going to go anywhere. After you take delivery also, please do not do anything with excitement. Feel the ride, accelerate gradually and you will enjoy the bike and the ride to the fullest. Also, do not compare the zooming apache's and p220's with this blade. Just think that you have got the best of racing bikes and feel the power & comfort in the highway or an empty stretch.Originally posted by Lenov View Posthye !

hye ! Thanks for the advice ! Yes, studying is a priority, and I am, its just so hard ! And yes definitely intend to start slow on the bike. On that note, since one of the only parameters for run-in is not to accelerate hard, how high is it ok to rev it ? Around 6-7 ? And yes, the CBR is definitely not comparable to Apache's and P220's. The only bike I would compare it to is the R15 v1. That is also something I intend to talk about during my ownership review, as a close friend of mine owns it, it will be interesting to see how they stack up against each other.Originally posted by neobiker View PostCongratulations on your booking. This is not the actual new bike. The actual is thinner and looks man, Im confused with what it is. Our current CBR150R is way too good than this!Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark

This should be the actual CB150R., showcased at Indonesia.Originally posted by mulli84 View PostThis is not the actual new bike. The actual is thinner and looks man, Im confused with what it is. Our current CBR150R is way too good than this!
What you are referring to is another model., probably white in colour. That seems to be different.
Though, the production of this may have some changes like, No dual-disk at front, more slimmer tyres.., And IMO, Its a killer!!The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

As far as my knowledge goes, the actual Indonesian CBR 150 R was a different machine. The Indian CBR is an updated bike over the old one, which was used in the one make race series. The one in the picture might be a naked version, with the name CB150R..Yes it does look brutal and brash, just like how naked streetfighters should be..
