Ha ha!! Actually., am too planning for a couple of rides before and after diwali.
One should be probably to munnar via udumalapet and meghamalai and another to kutraalam and karaaiyar dam!
So, if these gets completed., as you said!!!

Btw, Have routed the line for the license plate light to beneath the seat and have replaced the filament bulb with a blue LED. Planning to extend these to a couple of LEDS and placing them under the engine, but worried about the heat from the head-size Catcon of ours!!

The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Totally cool! I want to fir Led`s under the tank too! But Im afraid to do them right now fearing warranty void. And Im too planning to goto Munnar(Probably through the Tirupur-Udumalaipet-Munnar) or some other hillstation. Javadhu Hills is in consideration!

This ain't gonna void warranty, as I have used the existing line and have just extended it.
Moreover, warranty call has become a sole decision of the dealer guys., and having a good relation with them, the said its no problem!!

BTW, when are yu planning for munnar..?? My plan is to start on Nov 15th from Udumalpet., stay at 16th and return the same day evening to megamalai and stay there for 17th. Though, megamalai part is under dilemma. Let us see., if we could catch up with each other.

        • Guys...I'm worried about my Baby since It is making nasty rough sound at RPMs>8k its literally wobbling, 1690 on the ODO..Actually Since a month or so, I have been riding the bike in heavy traffic conditions so I have not ridden the bike at RPM>8k. Is this the reason? Does anyone experienced the same? ...and recently I gave my bike to my cousin for two days...He did about 120kms, I had a rough first gear since then(not too rough but rough when compared to before) Its mainly be because of taking speedbumps in 2nd gear...Will all these be rectified in the 2nd service? and my first service costed about 240 bugs and thats all for the oil (JSP Honda)...But I read in this post that fully synthetic engine oil costs about rs 500...so which oil did I get?

For once, I'm happy about my high-revving aggressive style of riding. Seems I've found the perfect bike for it, rather than have to change the style! (also previously RTR160).

Here's hoping the rough first gear you guys have will go away after a service. I've not given it to anybody so far (save a short trip to my dad, and before that ride I ate his head off trying to convince him to keep it above 4k RPMs), but you never know when someone else might have to ride it.

                • 1 week completed today since the purchase. Last Wednesday when I bought my baby blade, I filled rs. 500 worth petrol and today the first bar is blinking and the Odo reads only 110, is this mileage normal before the first service?

                  • Hi All,

Looking between baby cbr and r15. But my mind goes more towards baby cbr.

                    Anybody please tell..
For pass-light, can I use the low-beam/high-beam switch?
Is that good for village roads? (i know it has great ground clearance)
How about its horn? is it dual?

                    Looking forward for your replays...

                    Thanks,
                    Rohith

Yes you can ride it comfortably in villages. Horn is single I guess but loud enough.

I am thinking of riding with lowbeam ON always, but how is that switch for LOW/HIGH? I saw its some kind of toggle switch. Is that quick for LOW/HIGH switching?

                        Thanks,

Nothing beats the swiftness of a pass light switch! Still the switch might be quick. ARe u asking this for overtaking?

Well, I never tried that while overtaking. Ill just make it to low beam once I decide to overtake in night. I will not use the light itself in day while overtaking. Ill only overtake if there is considerable distance from the opposite.
