So it means there is 1.5 Litre of petrol that cannot be used after 3.5 Litres of it has been used? Or unusable reserve is part of the 3.5 Litre?

Unusable petrol is separate not included in reserve. The pic you uploaded there is printing mistake .. It always must be 200-300ml.. Or something like that .. In fuel injection bikes have more unusable petrol to create pressure in fuel pump. But in carb bikes there is no fuel pump. so pulsar 150/180/200 there is .2 0r .3 ltr of unusable petrol.. The larger the tank the more unsable petrol .. It keeps vary each an every bike..

Wow nice. Bajaj finally picking up the pace with this bike and its 150cc sibling. A monoshock too.
Finally a good locking bike in the 150cc and below range.

I need to change the oil. Grade is 20w50? Is it advisable to use shell oils? Because when I went there the attenders sweared that 20w40 is normal for all bikes. Any other oils to suggest?

P.S: I always ride in the power band.

And found a small trick to enable lights when engine is not running. Select high beam(headlamp switch should be on) and press the pass lamp all lamps in the bike glows except indicators. [emoji3]

                20W40 is not recommended.
                Don't change what comes after W .

Got my bike's 7th servicing done yesterday and is running good now. Poured Motul 3000 4T plus 15w50 mineral oil. My question, is this oil good for this bike and better than the bajaj oil? What is bajaj oil type they use on the ASC, mineral or synthetic?

Update: I'm having bad experience with this oil. Just completed 1k since filling it but the engine still feels rough and the gear shift clunky. Not sure if there's some problem with the oil. Seriously considering to change to some other oil like Castrol power one. Do you guys have any other suggestions for 20w50 oil?

HI bro!! As far as my experience with this bike, the engine will be rough and doesnt like being run on mineral oil. It atleast needs semi synthetic I had changed to motul 3100(semi synthetic) just after my 3rd and last free service. After couple of oil changes, shifted to Motul 5100(semi synthetic with ester) and after that currently shifted to motul 7100(fully synthetic). With all these oils the engine was smooth enough and gear shifts were easy. Only small glitch what i faced was, when using Motul 5100(semi synthetic with ester) the engine emitted too much of heat even under normal driving conditions and more in city traffic condition. I was able to feel the heat on my legs when i am riding. This may be because of the ester technology which is generally used for higher cc high revving engine(i may be wrong). But, once i shifted to 7100(fully synth) these issues were gone.

With the current 7100 gear shifts are smooth and finding the neutral is also easy. when given proper idling at the start of the day even the (patented bajaj :P) jerkiness generally felt while engaging first gear is vanished.

My suggestion would be change the engine oil to some semi synthetic oil(may be 3100 semi synthe) and try out. After changing the oil dont expect to see difference instantly. It takes some time for the roughness and the heat issues to go. Dont forget to change your oil filter as well when you change the oil. And Motul oil is definitely anyday better than Bajaj oil.

Motul 7100 is 20w50?? I gonna try it straightly.. What's the process for changing oil filter? Because bike can't be given to service center for changing into Motul oil..

Edit: for our bikes we need 1000ml? I found some differences between 5100 and 7100 here http://nexgenbikes.com/site/2013/05/...motul-5100-4t/

                          3100 has 20W50
                          5100 has 15W50
                          7100 has 20W50.

For changing the oil filter. Right side of the crankcase has a circular lid with three bolts. Like this

                          1. Drain the engine oil. The bolt size is 18
                          2. Open this lid with three bolts as shown in the red circule in above picture. The bolt size is 8
                          3. replace the oil filter inside with a new one and bolt everything back again.
                          4. Fill your preferred engine oil.

I didnt have the respective tolls for the size of bolts. So, I bought the oil filter from nearby Bajaj service. The cost was rs.39. Bought motul 7100 20W50 as well, bought for Rs. 740/-
Then went to the nearby local mechanic with both oil and filter and asked him to change it. He took Rs.30 for changing both and he did it in 15 min. There is nothing much to do here. Just removing and fixing some bolts. So you can go to any local mechanic and ask him to do. Its more easier as well. If you are much interested in DIY. you can follow the short procedure i have written above. If you want anything more we can discuss.

                          Cheers

I don't have any ideas in lightning. But only know that H4 bulbs can be fitted in the bike.

H4, H1S,H3,H8 all have three pin connectors but are meant for different purposes. H4 and H1S can be used. Try osram night breaker. It comes in both H4 and H1S and its better than Philips extreme vision. Also Phillips blue vision can be tried as it will be sufficient with good illumination.
