I am running out of my options and patience now. Don't know what more I should try. Plus this terrible news of 125ST might be discontinued. It means, if I am pushed by these problems to the brink of selling this bike, I will get get peanuts in the resale.
I am in bad mood for over a week. Repenting every day the decision of cancelling P135 and going for this one.

Same here. Not sure what to do now. How's your biking experience so far? Noticed any betterment or it's still the same?

I gave the bike at bajaj ASC to get the problems fixed. Whatever they did has reduced the vibrations quite a lot, Still they are enough to cause dissatisfaction. Going above 60 kph engine sends out lot of vibrations and then they persist. Also now bike can't climb speed beyond that point as easily as it could do before. Mileage might have improved a little but it's not more than 50-52 kmpl.

Looks like the gasket is blown again! I had this issue after 3rd free service at 6000kms, when the oil was not completely drained before refilling, leading to excess oil and pressure. I changed to Motul 15W50 around 4000 kms ago and I am seeing a slight leakage since this week as well. The leakage is exactly at the same spot at the base of the engine block on the left side.

On the engine oil thread, people have reported blown gaskets when using FS oils, but I don't see any issues with SS oils. Also, the same type of leakage could mean a design flaw.

Leakage is still very minor, and I will be monitoring it till I get it fixed around end of Sept.
Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

Hello guys I have a Discover 125T. The other thread of my bike is as good as dead so I have decided to post my question here since both of these bikes are similar to each other.

I recently had my second service done at 2000 Kms. The bike has been running fine. However some time before the 2nd service the accelerator started to feel really heavy between 3rd and 4th Gear. This issue is still present and I can notice the throttle getting heavy as soon as I engage 3rd gear. I explained this to the Mechanic in the Bajaj SVC but they neglected this problem along with my request to make the suspension stiffer as the bike was scraping some 20 odd speed bump's they made around my town recently.

My question is: Could this be a problem with the accelerator cable? If so, should I have it replaced? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in Advance.

Yes it should be the problem created by accelerator cable

Ok sir I will have it replaced ASAP. Thankyou very much.

Also my bike heats up a lot when I ride it on longer journey's. Is this normal?

Wanted to know if it was some manufacturing defect, went to the svc and to my surprise all the new in stock ones had it! No idea why its meant to be there..

Also, was facing some technical glitches with the horn, they checked it and replaced it. Now it sounds even better than it did previously!
After reading your post i checked it too, i have a dented thing too, it appears like it is the design itself ( a scary design Flaw )
