CBF Stunner's rear sprocket has 43 teeth and the FI Stunner has 42 teeth. You can go ahead and fit the Stunner FI's rear sprocket (price 491 rupees). With 42-teeth rear sprocket, the bike does more speeds in each gear up to 10 kmph.

After change please give us the feedback.

Also, the CB Twister has the same 42-teeth rear sprocket as Stunner FI.

Thanks Lot... I was actually looking for that info.. Yes soon i will update after changing the sprocket ... Also 10Kmph seems good advantage over current.

One more Question is there any after effect installing 42 teeth sprocket...in comparison to the current 43 tooth.. Also what can i do with the current sprocket means can it be replaced or can fetch any value.........

Yes your initial will come down.. & top end will increase, time taken to reach high speed will be more.

Reg the current sprocket - you can keep it @ home & put it back if you are not happy with 42t from Stunner FI.

          • The 0-60 figures may be increased by 0.5 sec and the bike will be a little slower to top speed. You will not have any other side affects as the same sprocket is employed in Stunner FI without any problems. The Stunner FI has some power advantage and linear power delivery due to FI; hence, the pickup was not affeacted with the taller gearing.

            • Anyone found which rear sprocket would be compatible on the Unicorn to increase top end??

My bike's almost done 25,000kms, so I'll soon be changing the whole sprocket set ... Was thinking of the sprocket set from Karizma?? will it be a perfect fit??

Karizma's wont be a direct fit.. Instead go for Ambition's sprocket which is 15/38 or 14/38 I am not sure but its a direct fit & it will help in top end.

I don't wanne lose too much acceleration... so max i wanne cut down is three teeth from the rear sprocket...

                    • Has anybody tried to improve acceleration?
Do both of the sprockets need to be downgraded?

3 from rear or 1 from front is almost same.

I think Uni has 15t front, so you can try with 14t from Hunk/ Xtreme & it should cost not more than 100bucks & give it a try..

No! I guess you mean to say make them smaller.
For extreme result in acceleration: Make front smaller, rear bigger. (not recommended)
For sensible result in acceleration: Make ONLY front smaller. Or make ONLY rear bigger. Only one side is sufficient.

Though mind you. Consider your chain length. Bigger sprocket will require a slightly longer chain and vice versa. It may not matter if change in sprocket is small. As you may know, chain tension can be loosen by bringing the rear wheel forward or tighten by pushing the rear wheel backwards. So if rear wheels have pulled forward to its limit with current sprockets, better go for smaller sprockets at front. Else if rear wheel has room to play, you can play with either sprockets. eerr, hope that doesn't sound confusing .

I want more top-end... wouldn't decreasing the no. of teeth in the front sprocket reduce the top-end?

You can try the 1st option of Ambition's sprocket

                                Please suggest.
