          • Need a info on Fiero F2's chain.

What is the pitch of Chain?

Is it thicker like the ones in ZMA or P220 (520) or is it usual like the ones in Unicorn (428) ?

I am planning to put 40T (of Fiero F2) rear sprocket on my Unicorn (15/42T) so that i can cruise on highways at lower rpm than earlier. So the new setup which i would like to do is 15/40T. So can I use Unicorn's chain itself?

            • ^^ dont use worn out chain with new sprocket .. both will wear out exponentially.. pitch of chain changes when it wears.

I will use everything new but what i want to know is, whether Unicorn's chain is suitable to Fiero F2's sprocket ?

                • Same here, even im using a 15/42 on my uni (if at all it is that way) Coz of the rear being a 42 rather 43 like earlier my top end has been cut out. i wanna install a 43 at the rear (In order to increase my top end + my cruising pleasure), what are my options guys, tell me ?????

                  Thankx.

If u increase the rear then top end will reduce and initial will be increased.

Well i thought so, i had inquired at honda but no use coz they have the spares for the current models only.
Will i have to hunt for an aftermarket one or do i have an open option from some other bike ????
