    Some pics.
Attached the MRA windshield. Done the 12k service, changed air filter, spark plugs and done the periodic service. Also attaching a pic of the plugs used. First is new and second is old.
New plug is R15's . ₹85 as compared to ₹1050 of Ninjas. I didn't find any visual difference. Material used might differ. But as far as I have researched, I couldnt find any genuine link that the plug is anything other than Nickel. So I felt it was waste of money to invest more than 2k for plugs.
The Kawasaki OE tank pad is still on way from UK. Will post once I fit them.

MRA windscreen costed me Rs.7500. I bought it through a friend. I don't know from where exactly he claimed it.

Getting a 2014 N300 that has done 9k kms for 2.9 L. Would probably go and check the bike tomorrow. What are the things to look at in a used N300?

Exact same questions asked one page ago.. Understand the peace of mind thing. But any other obvious things to look at?

          Should I rather conjure/squeeze/beg/steal 1.3 L more and get a new N300?

There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

Along with the bike check the owners' attitude as well. Generally these kind of premium bike holders are quite mature enough and they just love their ride. In that case you should get a top notch quality out of the second hand motorcycle.

But remember, this is India and here some rich kid also do buy these toys and use it real bad. Just be careful about the owner.

Check for service history, fairing, alloy bent, tyres, if possible take the bike to a svc guy and ask for the condition. That's the best you can get.

Headlight bulb gave up today(DIM). As the service centre dint have stock, opted for P220 headlight bulb(H7). Costs Rs.294 as against Rs.1k+ for OE Ninja bulb.

Remember you are not going to get any warranty on the bike after you transfer the bike on your name even if the bike has warranty left.

Just curious to know. What are the watts for Ninja two bulbs? What are the total wattage for two bulbs?

Faced the same issue a month back and opted for the Bajaj headlight. The cost of the bulb from Kawasaki was quoted at Rs.1800/-.

This is out of curiosity, was looking for the clip-ons mod for my N300 and came across Woodcraft and Driven clip on. Woodcraft seems to be best of the two.

Was thinking on this since long time but some how couldn't post, this may sound stupid and if it actually does then please ignore.

Ninia mono 250 which is available in Indonesian market have got one the sexy looking and perfectly angled clip-ons on the production bike (at least in it own segment), and was wondering if they can direct fit to N300. Fork pipes are not very clearly visible from the images I sow , so not sure if its of same dimension as of N300. same dilemma with the main joint, if its same as N300.

Will post pictures of Ninja monos clip-ons in some time.

yes it has one of the coolest looking clipons and perfect angle as well. Check the fork tube size and also the triple clamp should be able to fit on the Ninja 300. But I think it can be custom made as well. But the real problem is the angle in which the clipons are set. Its not straight. And hence there is a chance of it hitting either the windshield or the tank .
The best bet will be to search Thailand and Indonesian Ninja forums since both the motorcycles are available there and the crazy bikers there should have already tried it(hopefully).

Yeah the angle and the tilt of the clip on bar, that's what I liked the most abut MONOs clip-ons. They are similar in position to those on R15 which I am so much use to and love the feel of. I think this position will put the handle bars more close to the ground, put rides in more control and will improve the front end feel.

On the negative side this position kills all the touring advantages of the existing N300 clip on for sure.
And yes they might hit the tank if the same angle is kept. Fork tube looks similar in size as that of N300 but still need to find out more, will do some reading on Indonesian and Thai forums.
But its not gonna be easy , like they fitting on N300 as is and if they fit then getting them imported and getting them installed in reality
