Just want to say this, I zeroed in on D390 because of international reviews and ownership as I feel they provide an unbiased opinion as every 300cc bike is foreign-made and don't have India's skewed view on Bajaj-manufactured KTMs.

Everyone's happy (except for the radiator fan) and say it's one of a kind.

BUT, you buy what you feel is nice and right. And KTMs won't give you that feeling of being a highness.

Well, congrats! I'm falling short of words to express my emotions.

Do we expect an ownership thread soon? And please re-christen your big N to something new. Midori (especially the big N) is Sachin's after all!

I think this is one of the best color schemes of N300 ever,

The new Special Edition Ninja looks absolutely stunning. The bike oozes premium from heead lamps to tail lights! It has broken my resolve to own the Yamaha twin. The fact that Kawa has been working on the N300 for two years and is not trying to sell a bored out 250 with higher compression ratio to rake out a few more bhps shows!
No offence meant to anyone and no direct comparos (mods you can delete if you think so!).

Finally, am out in the market selling my RC390 and trying to make rupees meet to get the N300 (over you know who giving higher bhp+ torque at lower price!). Wish me luck!

Cheers to the owners on a decision well made!!
Me planning to do the same. Sick of RC390. I didnt buy ninja only for Abs. Now I feel i have sacrifised a lot only for abs.
Planning to go for a used one and finally when abs variant launches will sell this and get a new one.

Guys can you people guide me what to look in a used bike. A friend of mine recently experienced wobble in his handlebar above speed of above 60kmph. Is this common wen the bike wears out. Please guide!!!

RC390 is completely track focused machine. I will give it a big zero in refinement, too buzzy. The power is sudden and uneven. In city riding you cant find the right gear. Finding the right petrol is another headache. Comfortwise too its very poor. I can do max 200kms in a single day on our poor indian road. Its like a horse where when ridden one cannot stay calm. I like the power and its very addictive but sometimes I want to ride it slow too, which RC390 promises not to do.

Guys need help. I found a ninja 300 in my locality about 15k kms ridden and recently cone set changed. Two years old. No warranty. I know the history of the bike inside out. But he is quoting 3lakhs. Is the price too high or is it ok?

If you know the history of the bike and it is well maintained, I think you should pick it up. Haggle a bit and get it done. The peace of mind in buying a machine that you have known is something that cant be equated with money. These are my thoughts though most will not agree.

Mine was a 2014 model with lots of customisation and it went for a very good price. People who came to see the bike, just couldn't resist her and I had multiple offers.
