Had her washed from a near-by place. Pretty fantastic job for Just Rs.100.
This is the first time any of my motorcycle is being washed by someone other than me. In Bangalore, you don't have much choice, not even to park your bike.

      Hi,
Does anyone have this color Ninja here? If yes, can you post your pics? Is this available in India? I have seen one near my area in Trivandrum but I can't confirm if the fairings had this exact color as shown( I was passing by quickly and couldn't take a proper view) but the tank color was this, it looked very premium with this color on the tank.

Update :- Got the name - METALLIC MOONDUST GRAY/EBONY http://www.kawasaki.com/Products/2015-Ninja-300-SE

This is not available in Indian market, you can get it only in US. The only way you can have it is to paint or wrap your bike.

Yes you can find one in Tvm which is done by Ghosr Ryderz Customz. You can see more pics in their fb page. Apart from the wrong Ninja positioning on the tank, everything looks perfect.

So, the thought of upgrading from a KTM D200 to an N300 has always been in the back of my mind. But due to financial reasons, I think I'll have to settle for a used one( hopefully a sparingly used one).
Now I know the N300 is one of the most reliable and one of the best built bikes with high quality parts sold in India right now.
My question to all you current Ninja 300 owners is, are there any specific things that I need to check for.
And what sort of price range is fare for a year or so old bike??

The front RH headlight bulb filament was broken and so I approached the SVC for a replacement to be informed that the cost of one bulb is Rs. 1800/- from Kawasaki, Ouch. The SVC advisor after seeing the frown on my face then arranged the same bulb from the Bajaj SVC next door for Rs. 290/-.

For owners in Pune, the SNK KTM and Kawasaki SVC at Wakdewadi will soon be shutting shop with only the Kawasaki portion for SBKs to remain operational. Apparently there is a new SVC opening up for KTM Kawasaki at Market Yard shortly.

I do not think there is one.

You need to check the chain and sprocket, disc rotors, brake pads & clutch plates as all these parts in total wud cost u around 50k..
So if you are getting an year old bike whose clutch plates are not proper , disc plates are eaten up , sprocket tooth are corroded and brake pads are at finish level.. you should depreciate the cost by 50k...
Also check in service manual the services been done..
And lastly a year old bike say 12k kms run should come for around 2.8L to 3.5L depending upon the region

Thanks for the response FZRIDER, all these parts except the clutch plates are consumables so I'm not even considering them, as I'll replace them anyways.
My biggest concern is the oil leakage related issues like many of the KTMs have.(sorry for the direct comparison here, but that's what I'm using as a benchmark).
Should I be worried about any engine related issues??

Most probably you wont find any issues like KTM even if the rider has abused the bike. But then again it depends on rider to rider..

Yes. That's true. But I do believe N300 riders are a bit matured and don't ride like us KTM madmen!! 😂

I'm wondering what bulb does Ninja use? Isn't it normal halogen? What's the difference between that 1800 and 290 wala bulbs?
