Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
I too have the same fairing problem, just near to the head light, for me its in the left side. I reported the problem at the service center, but its not yet fixed. How to get it fixed ? As per the service manager, they say many other bikes too have the same issue and they have reported it to kawasaki and are waiting response. How to deal with it ? Its really heart breaking to see such vents in the bike. Also have a gap between the fuel tank and the frame in the right side, though I have reported the issue, the mechanics here in cochin probiking are yet to resolve this issue :-(Originally posted by j4zb4 View PostGot my ECU changed yesterday... Also got the fairing problem fixed... The fairing on the right side near the headlight used to pop out by about a cm. all the way to the tank... Apparently the lock used to let go...BHP, More is never enough! .

Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
The moulding where the fairing locks in on the frame seems to be slightly defective... What my mechanic at the SVC sis was a home grown solution... He used a blowgun to heat that part slightly and put it in the correct position... So problem solved... It pays to have a thinking mechanic...Originally posted by vishnumusiq View PostI too have the same fairing problem, just near to the head light, for me its in the left side. Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Hmm looks like a simple task, btw this issue is present only in the bikes of the first lot right? And the ones that are being manufactured/booked now won't have it?Originally posted by abhimanyu31I received a call from the showroom at Navi Mumbai asking me to bring in the bike for ECU replacement. I fixed up a meeting for today at 11.00 am at their Seawoods SVC.....

Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Hey guys, just done 1000kms today. Love the bike in every which way. However, there is one problem i am facing.
On letting go of the handlebar at around 80kmph, the handle wobbles slightly till around 60kmph. Moreover, my bike always veers to the left a bit on leaving the handlebar. Also, while cruising at around 80kmph with my hands firmly on the handlebar, the handle wobbled quite a bit out of comfort zone on going over rumble strips. I googled out and found out that the wobble is a common thing on the ninja
. Most say the OEM stem bearings should be replaced with tapered ones, and most say it improves the handling quite a bit.
Any guys out here faced the same problem yet?F1 is a way of life!

Isn't on mine... My experience says you have taken a bad bump... Get your fork alignment checked... A slight wobble I can understand... The wobble you describe isn't normal... Also the veering to the left shouldn't be there..."stay hungry, stay foolish."

Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Nope, no bad bump taken at all ! Looks like i simply have the problem that many other owners over the world have. Planning to get tapered roller bearings ordered from the US, which should improve things on the wobble and stability side. As for the veering, yeah, i do think some misalignment is there either in the forks or rear wheel. Shall get that checked during the 1st service.F1 is a way of life!

Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Can someone provide me a list of Slip on exhaust that are available in India? if possible thn with expected price
I had a word with Sachin (from Vikrant Bajaj, Delhi Road, Meerut), he told me that slip on exhaust doesnt void any warranty. I just need to keep the stock exhaust safely at home.

Home is where your bike sits still long enough to leave a few drops of oil on the ground.
