Just get the bike and be happyOriginally posted by abhi19 View PostHello fellow xbhpians..... I am new to xbhp and need your hell. I am a current owner of bajaj pulsar 220 dtsi and looking forward to upgrade to ninja. I want to know the things I should know before upgrading
. Since you already own a bike, you should be having some riding gear with you, if not, get them as soon as possible. Regarding the bike, well its an excellent upgrade if you got the money (to buy and maintain). Has lots of new features compared to the older 250 like Fuel Injection, Assist and Slipper Clutch, KAMS, dual throttle valves etc. Haven't heard of any issues with the bike so far except for the ECU replacement for the first lot.

Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Polishes are good but i remember the Probiking guy telling me not to use any polish on the bike , insted he suggested to use a car shampoo which also has a polishing action. Actually the company advises that to mantain the shine of the paint not to use any polish.

Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
I got my Ninja glass coated. They use 4 layers of 3M coat on the bike which brings out the showroom shine anD stays like that for more than 8 to 9 months - you get 2 free top up coatings to be used in 6 months from the first coat. Polishes/Coatings such as 3M are very good and they protect the paint and are resistant to small minor scratches. Here's my Ninja after it was glass coatedOriginally posted by arnavsameer View PostPolishes are good but i remember the Probiking guy telling me not to use any polish on the bike , insted he suggested to use a car shampoo which also has a polishing action. Re: Kawasaki Recall for ECU replacement
Looks good. A small bit of paint has chipped off near the tank lid. I was looking for a protective coating. Pls share more info like cost durability procedure etc. ThanksOriginally posted by Arsenic View PostI got my Ninja glass coated.
