Ninjas are still being service here in Lucknow also but just for a lil more while

There aren't any new ninjas available here for sale

There are a couple of rumours that Kawasaki would start building there bikes here in India just like KTM. Fingers crossed for that cause then Ninjas would be around 2.4L only and Er6n around 4.5L

Must find out about Kawasaki building their own bikes from some biker buddies who work at Bajaj though it seems unlikely.

That would totally slay the market in the mid range.

Yes it would. But considering the N300 sells for around US$ 5500 abroad. Does one honestly think this will happen?

When I bought my bike around 3 years ago at approximately 3.85 Lac, I was surprised to see the same bike costing more at present times.

Finally had a R3 for whole day for myself. Rode it all day. Those extra 20ccs are felt right away in the low and mid range. Bike is more flickable than than the N300. Although the quality is no less in its own sense but the premium feel of the N300 wasn't there. It does not give you the big bike feel. May be it's a quality of its own.

I went for the service today. What I have been told is that Kawasaki is leaving India altogether. They are not supplying spare parts. The existing bikes have been deported back ! This is ****ing scary! They don't have an oil filter for change. U guys have any idea ?

Can you please ask them to give this in writing with their stamp?
They'll deny. This is just a hoax and I'd request you/others to avoid spreading false information.

Kawasaki is (re)starting as a separate individual entity in India. It's not leaving one of the hottest markets for automobiles in South Asia.

Agreed this is a hoax but they are not supplying parts. Even a basic oil filter. Splitting without a backup is a nightmare for us. And after so much time there is still no official statement by the Kawasaki. Very irresponsible move.

I had already posted in this thread a month back to everybody's knowledge that there will be a part scarce in the next 2 months as they are restarting their SSS service totally in India. You can either wait, send a mail or call some of the nearest ktm showrooms to see if its in stock anywhere.

Hilarious . As far as oil filter is concerned if you are in such dire-straits you can opt for a K&N oil filter. Yes, it will be more expensive than a OEM filter but will work equally good and give the same results.

Another suggestion is to look for a matching size Purolator oil filter from a dealer. The oil filter is not something extra ordinary and is actually a industry standard size oil filter.

Btw anyone has any idea on by when would Kawasaki resume their service support in Mumbai?

In Kawasaki website, there is some information on their new showroom at Hubtown, Andheri.

They are suggesting Yamaha r3 filter. Should I go for it. My ride is already in service station.

you could probably use the r3 oil filter.

looks like it would fit the n300. dig a little further online, and reviews/cross references say it should work just fine.

re-use the same old filter if you are not comfortable going with an alternative.

I hope this is just a hoax. Even tier 1 cities which have kawa showrooms are scarce on parts. Anyone from Bangalore or delhi confirm the status of Kawasaki in tier 1 cities ?
