    1. where did u get the ride-on treatment done from in mumbai / thane?
    2. how much did it cost - the solution itself?
    3. does the solution work with nitrogen filled tires? [i know it does for conventional air filled tires since the solution will rotate along the perimeter of the inner-wall of the tyres as the bike runs. but does this hold true for nitrogen filled ones, considering that nitrogen reduces the inner temperature of the tire dramatically & hence might result in the ride-on solvent getting lumped-up?!]
    4. can this be used with tubed tires as well?
    Ans:

    1. M/S THAKOR DRIVE-ON

    2. Currently in India the solution is not available in small bottles. It's available in a large commercial containers of 25 kgs. Therefore, the cost is inclusive of filling. It cannot be done at home.

    3. It works just fine with nitrogen. Although I would recommend that you do the treatment with normal air, run for 1,000 kms and then change over to nitrogen.

    3. Correction; just went through the website again. It works with tubed tires also.

Thanks for the advice. Everything done. They used motul 7100 + Nano energizer, got my chain slack checked, cleaned and lubed. Also did a small Idle adjustment for the problem I was facing (Engine kill, when stopped). Now she runs butter smooth in all RPMs. Now the grin on my face is getting wider.

Made another trip to Chandigarh yesterday, this time to get the High Security Number plates installed. As i am over with the running in it was a breeze to ride the bike , though the only restriction being the road and traffic. Had a comfortable 600 Km to and fro journey, and the best part is that the bike is constantly returning 30Kmpl. One experiance which i wanted to share was that in my previous long stint i found the seats uncomfortable so i remembered reading some where on Xbhp that wearing boxer shorts in leu of regular stuff helps. And my it surely was helpful and a great butt comforter.

I know now people have started discussing the technical details and issues/top speed and ways of maintaining the bike, still I would like to deviate from general discussion and would want to share some pics from my recent ride. The full travelogue is awaiting approval from the moderators, hence only a few teaser pics here

If you need to source a radiator guard, you can contact Performance Racing Store. They have the guard in stock now selling for 4.5k

                        hey guys

im lately confused between ninja 300 and duke 390
both the bikes are good in their respective fields

and im NOT comparing both of them
these two are my options that's it

im a student and a daily commuter
and travel nearly 20kms a day and once in a bluemoon highway rides

im not here to start any war between the two
                        i just want some suggestions
as i cant test drive either of the bikes as they as available at showroom but not for test ride

sat on both the bikes ,
                        fell in love with ninja
im an existing duke 200 owner

so want to upgrade either to D390 or N300

                        please help me guys

                        it would be good
if someone can shed some light on maintenance and servicing charges
and lastly the mileage and any niggles with the ninja 300

                        and
duke 200 gives me a mileage of 28 km/lt under red-lining it always
so what can i expect from ninja 300 ?

and there is no waiting period for ninja 300 in my city i can go and pick the bike and ride back home after the payment

^^^ hmmm... You ARE a confused soul ain't you my friend...

Both bikes address very different segments. It depends on what you want from these bikes. Personally, I am not much into naked street fighter types, so the Duke was never a choice for me. I also believe (again a very personal view) that figures on paper are nothing more than sales pitches... What matters is real world performance and handling. How a bike makes its power, how it handle in traffic, high speed, low speed dynamic, etc., are some of the factors that matter.

What I am trying to say is that don't go by marketing hype and latest hype... Go with what you feel most comfortable with... Get yourself the bike that fits you and your riding style rather than looking at power figures and mileage... After all you are buying the bike to get maximum enjoyment, if you are not comfortable with the bike how will you enjoy it? Test ride both of them and see which feels comfortable and fits you like a well worn glove...

Whatever resting on windshield is spoiling the perfect picture though

                              We'll I'm damn confused

The problem is I can't test drive either of the bikes

                              I already used duke 200
And wanted a smoother engine this time
So I'm more inclined towards ninja

I just want some ownership experience from fellow owners

And congratulations abhi for ur white ninja

                              Cheers
                              Happy riding

& regarding the service varun motors have good mechanic's so this time try different one as you already have a duke & experienced it.
