EDIT: Does anyone use normal unleaded fuel for the 300? Are there any engine knocking issues with normal unleaded fuel?Last edited by Ezilkannan; 07-11-2013, 06:56 PM.2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300

Re: Ninja 300: Ninjette Calling
I am using normal unleaded fuel for my motorcycle and there is absolutely no engine knocking issue and the engine is silky smooth as ever. I fill in from a HP pump and the fuel quality there is greatOriginally posted by Ezilkannan View PostI don't think they have free services for the Ninja.

SEAT COWL:
What's up guys! Anybody considering installing seat cowl for the Ninja please?
I am looking forward to buy and install one on my motorcycle, since the rear seat is pretty much useless and uncomfortable it is better I cover it with seat cowl also enhancing the overall looks. Any idea where to buy one and what would be its cost?
Thanks,
NikunjRegards,

I use BP Speed. Have no knocking issues. Actually, there should not be knocking unless the fuel is really bad.Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostEDIT: Does anyone use normal unleaded fuel for the 300? Are there any engine knocking issues with normal unleaded fuel?

Hello fello Ninjette Riders!!
I am taking my girl for the first service tomorrow early morning to the workshop at Kirti Nagar. This being my first bike, so this is literally my first - first service
Need some valuable advice and points that I should take care during the first service.
Also any delhi rider who could guide me to the workshop is also welcomed. As I am not so familiar with Dilli galis.
Thanks in Advance!!

Usual stuff, clean oil and air filters, oil change, brake and battery check. Read the owners manual to get an idea and note down any/no scratches on your bike before and after.

Re: Ninja 300: Ninjette Calling
There is nothing special involved in the 1st service. Get the chain cleaned and lubed. Make sure that the oil they use is Motul as with me they tried to pass off Castrol, since i insisted they used Motul.Originally posted by Raj Kamal R View PostHello fello Ninjette Riders!!

abhimanyu31 : some q's on the 'ride-on'
1. where did u get the ride-on treatment done from in mumbai / thane?
2. how much did it cost - the solution itself?
3. does the solution work with nitrogen filled tires? [i know it does for conventional air filled tires since the solution will rotate along the perimeter of the inner-wall of the tyres as the bike runs. but does this hold true for nitrogen filled ones, considering that nitrogen reduces the inner temperature of the tire dramatically & hence might result in the ride-on solvent getting lumped-up?!]
4. can this be used with tubed tires as well?◦ ● 4-wheels move the body... 2-wheels move the soul ● ◦

Re: Ninja 300 Automatic engine shutdown
No... For tube tyres.. Think, the principle is it will seal the hole in the tubeless tyre by covering it.. So in tube tyre, u can't put it inside tube (ObviOriginally posted by whymail View Postabhimanyu31 : some q's on the 'ride-on'

) and even if you manage put on tyre (u can't since tube will occupy the space) , it can seal the hole only in tyre and still the tube will be leaking air inside the tyre itself and eventually you'll run Flat.
Other q' s abhi will help
