Dear Ajay,
For registering your bike you would need to pay octroi wherever applicable i.e if you are taking by road you would need to pay octroi on the border and wherever there are checkposts in between. And post that you would need to pay the charges to local RTO in Kerala with permanent address proof of your residence in Kerala.
Also kindly double check this with an RTO agent.

Xperts pls advice on RUN-IN period.... I'm aware of these but for a confirmation and some clarifications here I penned.... 4-5K RPM for first 600 KMS and 6-7RPM next 600 KMS, I hope right....
Also, can I take N300 to Hill station (Yercaud) while running period????

PS: Do not mistake me before getting a Bike I'm asking queries..... I'll get this monster in few DAYS hopefully....

Think octroi exists only in Maharashtra (soon to to be LBT :-) ). As far as i know, there is no octroi in kerala neither in Bangalore.
[MENTION=21774]xstunter[/MENTION]..If you live in bangalore, you might as well buy in bangalore considering the police hassles of a non KA registered vehicle.

@xstunter..If you live in bangalore, you might as well buy in bangalore considering the police hassles of a non KA registered vehicle.

Bangalore has higher sales tax... It is the most expensive city in the country... If not via octroi they have other ways of stealing our money...
