A fcukd up mentality of demented kids & even gals / teens with their feet dangling around the floorboards... dunno what gets into them when they see a protective-geared motorcyclist... folks start behaving like complete nincompoops... and this is not limited to any particular make / model... happens even to me riding my avenger... stupidity knows no bounds & only a near-death encounter is all it takes, to help shift their brain from their knees to its right place...

Ho, Ho, Ho you are not in this alone buddy i am experiancing the same out here. Kids with piddly sub 100cc nothings suddenly develop a kind of inferiority complex and want to zoom right in front of you and then brake after some distance. The best part is what happened yesterday, knowing that rural punjab is obsessed with modifying vehicles yestrday a college going kid asks me "Kaun sa bike modify Karaya Hai aur Kahan Se". I almost fell of my bike laughing.

From what I have experienced on my Ninja 250R,this kind of behavior is not restricted to students or college going people . I'm a student myself .
I've seen this kind of behavior in people driving cars on highways too. When they see a fully geared up guy, overtaking them, they go berserk and start speeding up honking at you from behind and driving rashly.
I guess because of the protective gear we wear, people mistake it to be some sort of a racing suit, and start 'racing' with you. I doesn't have to do with which vehicle they are riding/driving . Fully geared up riders are such a rare breed that people get provoked, in some way.

I had experienced this kind of retard people many times especially on the city roads when these ratard people see big bikes they do some funny & shitty stunts on their bikes mostly gearless and 100cc bikes.

Don't know what they want to prove by doing all those stupid and shitty stunts.

What I do to avoid these idiots is to let them have their way and zip ahead. When they see that I'm not in mood to overtake them they automatically slow down and try to ride beside me disappointed for missing out a chance to show off. A way to irritate cagers is to give them way and indicate that they have the enire road to themselves. Like the bikers, the cagers slow down to ride alongside and look at my bike to their heart's content .
I guess the idea that we riders don't consider them important enough to give in to their petty fantasies really pisses them off and make them go their own way.

One thing I really enjoy is when couples are driving in their car and the girl keeps staring at me . The pissed off guy then tries to race ahead only to get stuck in our ever filled mumbai traffic and then has to content with me stopping right next to his car as if I'm totally oblivious to the situation ...

But it is sad to see many of these kids show off their "skills" trying to look "cool" by not wearing a helmet. I try asking a few where are their helmets and give a thumbs down sign to their silly reasons a la "baal kharab ho jayenge". WTF!!!???

Nice one dude. Yeah that's something which keeps us entertained. About the other kids/freaks zipping around your bikes and trying to show off or challenge you- just let them have it their way, it's actually a flattery of sort- it's like worker bees buzzing around the queen bee, enjoy the attention or ignore if it become little too much.

Its more like a pack of hyenas challenging a lion, looking for any sign of weakness. Do what is expected of a lion and they will stop bothering you, or just learn to live with the constant pestering. ;-) Its a jungle out there..

The only thing i realized in this trip is that the IRCC tyres are not comfortable on wet roads and specially not in slush.

Also the manual says servicing at 1000 kms or 60 days whichever is earlier and not 800 kms.
8500 INR is too much for a bike cover
ok, so i dont need carry anything with me for service.

                          Thanks

The N300 cover should be available at probiking showroom for Rs 1024 (thats what I paid on April 23 before LBT at Kanjurmarg PBK). But honestly I wouldn't recommend it cause a) it's white, and b) the front part which covers 3/4th of the tire has already started peeling/tearing off.
Try the bullet cover. Its cheaper, bigger and seems better.
KTM Meerut doesn't have anything related to Ninja300. I might have to get it from karol bag, delhi only.

Take a look at the RJays cover from Bachoo Motors. A good quality cover with cotton lining inside to prevent scratches and 100% water proof. Also not very expensive.

Be careful of Karol Bagh its full of fake stuff with shopkeepers trying to sell you the items as genuine. BTW i paid a visit to Kaulsons at Delhi. Was impressed by their approach. Actually they are the guys who supply to dealers like Planet DSG, Bacchus etc. They are the wholesale suppliers for India and South Asia for Alpinestar and Progrip products. So its worth checking them out as they are cheaper than the outlets for obvious reasons. And my latest addition is a pair of all leather gloves from Kaulsons and a pair of oneal MX boots from US.
