I have bought the trip machine grips. One question, Have you wrapped it on top of the existing grips or did you remove the old ones and wrapped it straight on the handlebars?

Could you post some pics of it?

    Happy Biking Everyone

I just put it over the handlebars, I've never put a grip before, I put it on the stock handlebars. In case you've applied a grip, just remove it and put these

A bolt slips because either the thread on the bolt or casing which it threads have gone kaput. Secondly bolts slip due to insufficient bolt length, which doesn't allow the bolt to bite properly and causes the slip. Don't over do this, as it might cause weaken the threads on the both the bolts and the plate. Try using a slightly longer bolt with the same diameter bolt.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Do you Duke/rc owners have any issues with your Cam chain tensioner or shims?

nope, at-least i haven't and neither have i seen someone (friends, and the numerous bikes i've seen at the svc, and from posts here on xnhp)have an issue. Even valve clearance adjustment(i.e. using shims) are not a common service item from what i've observed. which i think is impressive for a single cylinder that produces as much power and combined with the way a lot of monkeys ride it
Also the fact that it uses a heavier grade fully synthetic oil seems to help keep such issues at bay.

Actually, valve adjustments are part of routine service in countries outside.

Inspections not adjustments (adjust only if needed).
These inspections are seldom done, unless suspect (like poor performance, starting trouble, tappet noise etc..) and I'd prefer them not fiddling with certain stuff unless absolutely necessary (or at longer intervals like 15k)

                        Hi Guys,

Need help, me and a few guys from Mumbai are facing a issue after front Tyre change.
                        All on Metz same profile.

The bike begins to wobble on speeds excess of 135-140, takes the confidence down.
after a lot of researching we believe wheel balancing is required.

Need your suggestions & help list down any motorcycle wheel balancing shops in or around Mumbai.

Thanks in Advance, help much appreciated !

                        Regards

Slight wobble will be present as it is a lightweight bike. For me also it is present. I've found the exact speed to be around 143-144 kmph after which the bike begins to wobble/ take a zig zag motion.
Actually, the Kawasaki ZX10R was also famous for this issue till the 2015 edition. Post 2015, they introduced what is known as a steering dampener which reduced the issue.
However, lets wait for responses from other members in this thread. They might be able to guide u better.

Just wanted your take on the vibrations. Even though the 2016 version seems refined and smoother than the previous lot, the vibes are still there. Any way to reduce vibes in the footpegs ? Can't obviously compare it to a twin or triple cyclinder but still, any suggestions?

When it is once in a time thing (the wobble) than it's OK, it may be due to undulations on the road as well. But, it the wobbling is regular or after changing tyres than get a wheel alignment check. The rims have been opened and put together, the chances of any misalignment would be more.
Few days back I took my bike to ~150 twice and it wobbled once. I checked my rear tyre and indeed the alignment was wrong. The SVC didn't do the chain tightening on both sides and hence the wobble.
                                Busy finding peace
