An off road tyre combination for duke 390. Is it possible to fit 120 section at rear ?

D390 works fine. The oil has a normal color. But the sediment on the lid looks strange

that is the valve cover. What brand /grade of oil do you use? How often do you change the oil? What are the temperatures(climate) at which you use the bike? (asking because your profile says your from Russia). Is that deposit easy to wipe off or is it very sticky? How do the camshafts and other internals look(similar deposits?)

Motorex 10/40 for first 15000 km
          Motorex 15/50 now (22000+)
Temperatures: From +5 Celsius to +35. In winter the motorcycle costs in a garage (-10 to 0 Celsius Inside the garage). I dont use it for 4-6 months.
          Deposit very easy to wipe
The valves are within normal limits.
          camshafts looks ok

Yes that's the valve cover. From the looks of it, I think the bike has been seeing the extremes of both severe cold and warm temperatures. I would recommend to drain the oil and use a fresh oil if you've parked your bike for more than 4 months in the garage. Valve train seems clean and I hope your clearances and within the normal limits, or at least from your post, I infer seems they are within the limits. Also make sure you have a pair of valve cover gaskets handy, they tend to leak if they aren't either torqued or loctited properly, you might have a slight weep from the head. Make sure all the bolts are properly torqued when re-installing and use a good quality gasket cement.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          THE END

your answers to my questions seem to be the answers to your question
it's probably the temperature variations and long periods of sitting unused that might be causing this layer of deposits. As long as its not gummy and the camshafts/other parts are not gummed up, you should be fine. And try using a 10w50 (or maybe even just 10w40 if it's cold out there). Try to get hold of motul 7100 10w50.
And make sure you change the oil and oil filter every time you take it out of winter storage. The oil filter in particular is best changed every 4 months (it isn't a very top quality one that will last a long time), especially in your very cold conditions.
Also maybe run a dose of an engine oil flush ?

I bought this chain lube thats what I got from market.
Can anybody share something about this.since 200 kms I didn't lubed my chain due non availability of lube anywhere in market.

I am going again for motul or tribocor after this finishes.

Motul is clean, but Tribocor hold on for long but makes the alloys dirty.

Rolon is absolutely fine. I have used it in the past and it does a good job. Not very messy either.
Only that it is a bit pricey imo.
If you don't have a fancy lube spray can doesn't mean you can't lube your chain. You could simply use 90 gear oil or even engine oil rather than neglect lubing altogether. Get yourself something like this and use 90 gear oil in it:

Local mechanics avoid doing 90 gear oil on chains as chain sprays have replaced such plus my ktm much suggested to keep chain maintained otherwise it's vulnerable to replacement which is going to be deep pockets.

KTM manual says gear oil, but no one does . Plus our fancy colored rims make sure to stay with fancy lubes. I use Motul, OKS and Tribocor.

I am using sae 90 oil since last 8kkms and its doing a great. Odo is 12kkms and chain and sprocket are good. I lube every 250kms.

Overall it costed me only 250 rs and still 300ml sae 90 oil remaining.

Take your time and calculate how much you are going yo spend on chain oil sprays keeping in mind the cost of chain and sprockets are less than 4000 rs.

                              No issues with gear oil.

When did the chain lube and sprays come?
                              In the recent past.

Bikes with open chain are here from a long time.
And before switching to gear oil, I searched alot in Google&YouTube and found people using gear oil on zx14r and on litre class bikes.

                              Cheers.
