Carbonracing.in is designing a guard like below one.

Ga engineering is selling one like below.

That ga engineering is selling it for 3800 . OK but the guard protects only engine and swingarm takes a hit

Wonder! How can you expect a crash guard to protect the swingarm !

Hello! I've Sept 2015 Duke 390 and have 7075kms done on it. I use it for my daily commuting. Used and maintained properly. Since last 2 months I'm seeing significant drop in fuel economy. Earlier, I was able to get good 82kms run in Rs.200 of petrol. Now it has dropped to just 40-43kms. Today I saw a crack on airbox and some oil residue around it. Does this have anything to do with sudden drop in fuel economy? I'm attaching pictures. Crack is visible and oil residue is also visible on some tube attaching airbox. It seems like fuel tank is leaking too. Please shed some light on this. Please tell me what will be the cost of repair? Are these problems covered in warranty?

It's a common issue in 390. Check with svc to get it replaced.
The oil leak happen in full throttle only and dont need to worry about it - said by svc (well known good mechanic)
I have the same issue. When I approached svc they said, wait till it brake fully then we can replace it in warranty [emoji23]

Do check your air filter box. If air filter is having oil on it then it may be the issue for low economy. I have faced the same issue when I covered around 900 kms non stop on my duke. I ignored this issue and eventually it end up in burning the stator coil. SVC guy told me that continues running of bike on high rpm may cause oil in filter box and then chocking of air filter causes less air fuel mixture and drop in power and economy.
That's what I was told....may be I am wrong but they replaced air filter box, air filter and fuel pump and bike was smooth then

Did they replace the parts under warranty? If not, what's the cost of repair? I am only experiencing low F.E. No power loss. I am using the bike for my daily commuting. Never abused and ripped. Did higher speeds on highways during occasional rides. I will check with the SVC guys tomorrow to see inside the airbox. All I'm seeing currently is some oil residue outside the airbox and the tubes attaching to it.

They only changed fuel pump in warranty
But air filter, stator coil, filter box and regular service costed me around 3800 approx. Sorry I didn't remember the exact cost.

This is true to an extent. As the blowby is sent back to the airbox, excess oil would eventually gum up the airfilter and reduce the air intake which would mean, though an FI you can expect some performance drop. How many kays has your motorcycle run and what's the reason to change the fuel pump.

                          Cheers!

                          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

My bike at that time was at 16k. It was 1 and half year ago. Fuel pump was working at that time but when the guy at service center changed stator coil and filter box it goes off. Don't know the reason but he changed it.

I am just curious which bike do you own, the 200 or the 390? 200 I presume?
