Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
I think Vikas Rachamalla has an Ed can excellent exhaust for 390.There is a video of him.Its custom made and and serves good for 390 . Sound is pretty explosive also. U can get it for 7-8K I guessOriginally posted by niku View PostYou wont get an Original product under 10k bro. You might try your luck on the Used products Market.

Also exhaust, you need additional fuel tuning unless you get a slip on which is compatible with the stock map, my advice go for a good slip on, ixil used to have the best looking slip on but I think they sold out, ixil still has hyperlow but that has a low ground clearance with a pillion it will scrape. The rest of the exhausts are expensive.

I think it's an additional rack for clamping accessories like mobile chargers, holders, switches, etc. It's not a steering dampener..Originally posted by blak bandit 350cc View PostSteering damper . It's a bar brace, in some cases might reduce the amount of vibes felt on the handlebar and is mostly added on for 'looks' (makes a naked look a wee bit more aggressive) and for mounting accessories.
Renthal - Bar Brace

Renthal - Bar BraceThis is not a steering damper. A steering damper will have O eyelets and this as folks mentioned is nothing but a bar brace. Though this is handy for single piece handlebars, this thing is pretty much not a ideal solution for bikes with clip ons, wherein that's where most folks require a dedicated setup to attach their mobile mounts, USB charging points et cetera. Though single piece have traditionally have been helpful in mounting all the accessories without much fuss, this does help if someone is attaching a LCD TV with 6 CD changer and what not.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostI think it's an additional rack for clamping accessories like mobile chargers, holders, switches, etc. It's not a steering dampener..
These are those not so useful inventions that doesn't help much, but as they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I don't think so. In fact, many BS-IV cars were already available for quite some time AFAIK. Maybe from 2015 or so..Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostBS III it is. Majority of the vehicles sold to or upto last month were all BS III vehicles, be it car, bike, trucks whatever it is.

But, yes Dukes at that time maybe were BS-3 only.

I think it's BS-4 rite??Yes Jack, that's precisely I mentioned "majority" not all. Though most of them were BS III some oddballs might have conformed to the BS IV. See, BS III is more a fuel issue than the engine itself. BS IV can be easily retrofitted as the European standards were more advanced than us, so it's just a matter of plonking the same setup here for most manufacturers. But the fuel is the only reason, as fuel is what causes the pollutants. The more refined the fuel, the more advanced it gets, and our fuel being crude was best fit for BS III. Now that the new rule has been implemented, how "clean" the fuel can be is another debatable topic though manufacturers have made their vehicles BS IV. How proactive our junta is keen on bringing the same BS IV fuel to the pump is another extremely debatable topic. Unfortunately the government hasn't provided any measures for measuring the quality of the fuel or how to deal with adulterated fuel as such.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostI don't think so. So many loopholes can be used to extract more money from money-oriented pump operators, but that's as I said, a debatable topic.
