Checked the battery, before starting the engine, its at 12.8.V. At idle and 5k, its around 14.2VOriginally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostNot bad. From almost selling the bike to a DIY, time changes everything. The error that you see, can be either a faulty battery or faulty stator coil/RR. Check the battery voltage with a multimeter with the engine running at 5k RPM, the voltage at the battery terminals should be 13.5 to 15v. Check the battery voltage when the engine turned off, and check the voltage after an hour, it should be no less than 12.4 any thing lesser than 12.3, your battery is deteriorating. Replacement is necessary.
Cheers!

Which visor is that? Is it a direct fit ? Can you post some fitting pics and front pics ?Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostRoutine maintenance done. First DIY oil change & coolant change. Pretty simple to follow the manual. Chain slack adjusted, cleaned and lubed. Gave it a nice waterwash as well
By the way I saw the error JG_1.7.4 popup on my bike. Has anyone else seen this error? Online search points to possible battery issue. Mine is due for replacement.
P.S. DO NOT quote the entire picture set. Remove all pics before quoting.Last edited by B7ACKTHORN; 02-05-2018, 02:56 AM. Reason: P.S. DO NOT quote the entire picture set. Remove all pics before quoting.

Its a fazer windshield. I got it done 3 years back when I got the bike. Its not a direct fit. I had to drill the holes manually by trial and error. But its quite sturdy and considerably reduces windblast. Here is the pic I posted when I did it. I drilled holes in alignment with the old bikini windscreen, then just swapped it out with this one.Originally posted by abhijithpreddy View PostWhich visor is that? Is it a direct fit ? Finally after 22k kms, my stock metzeler gave up. I chose Pirelli sport demon as the replacement since my daily running is high and metzelers are very expensive. So far have done 300+ kms on PSD and I have not noticed any considerable differences even though my riding style has remained the same.
Stock metzeler:

Hi Puneeth, front tyre is more important than rear tyre if you loose traction in rear its fun sometimes but if in front it's danger, I would suggest you to go for atleast a Michelin pilot street. Hi Imam, front tyre is still a stock one and might do another good 3k-4k kms . Any specific reason why you are suggesting Michelin over Pirelli? AFAIK Pirellis are softer than Michelins and most of my friends are running Pirellis on both front and the rear and they are totally happy with Pirellis.Originally posted by Imam Jafer Ali View PostHi Puneeth, front tyre is more important than rear tyre if you loose traction in rear its fun sometimes but if in front it's danger, I would suggest you to go for atleast a Michelin pilot street. Pirelli and Michelin are Tyre manufacturing company both are having soft and hard compounds. I'm pointing to sport demon which is hard compound. Go for medium compound at front or softer one.Originally posted by Puneeth max View PostHi Imam, front tyre is still a stock one and might do another good 3k-4k kms . Till today I was in the impression that Pirelli Sport Demon is a soft compound tyre and are softer than Michelin's PSR.
Found a random article which also says the same.

The sport demon is a medium soft tyre for sport touring. It is similar to the pilot Street radial.Originally posted by Imam Jafer Ali View PostPirelli and Michelin are Tyre manufacturing company both are having soft and hard compounds.
