Re: Enfield Bullet 500
Agree. Absolutely not possible. On highway that too for really long stretch, that figure is realistic but defenitly not in regular city ride. They are goofing up big time in calculating or may that gives a sense of complacencyOriginally posted by royal racer View PostMost of the Rider says 35-38. I dont believe that, how Lean the bikes Run. It must ran on Air. hahaha

Re: Enfield Bullet 500
Hey bro
How's your bike doing!
Well there are so many ifs and buts on the forum regarding the performance, FE and the top speed of the bike(bullet) .. Wouldn't ask you to check the top speed of the bike as its new and not even a Way to ride bullets!! But please shed some light on the performance and FE.. And if there are any particular issues you found, other than the normal ones.
Regards
Amit

Re: Enfield Bullet 500
I have also booked RE 500cc Forest Green on 28th Oct 2013,Originally posted by gyan_recl350 View PostWhat's the update?
so will get by 1st week of Feb 2014 (hope so...)
Waiting patiently....but this is resulting into doubts about which one to go for....
1) Pulsar 375.... if it is coming
2) Hoysung 250GV....
3) CBR 250
I am worried about RE due to its inconsistency....in delivering a right product.....
I own a P180 and want a bigger and better bike....so getting confused with time....
Please help.....

Re: Enfield Bullet 500
I have no idea when pulsar is coming and regarding Hoysung, I am afraid I am not the right person to tell about. CBR 250 is a great bike we all know but you can get all details about it here in xbhp.Originally posted by dising007 View PostI have also booked RE 500cc Forest Green on 28th Oct 2013,

I can talk about RE so I would do that. Well for sure RE is not a completely problem free bike but then as hyped it also not all completely problem laden bike. You might not get a single issue or you might end up with small niggles as well.
If you are not aware then I must tell you, before RE used to come with cast iron engine Bullets and they had this array of issues (usually) but this new UCE bullets are much reliable and better machines but yes, if unlucky you might get a share of issues as well. But once you ride, take my words you gonna absolutely fall in love. The ride pleasure and quality is unmatched. You might have ridden many bikes but trust me for this, the feeling would be entirely different in RE. Probably this is the only bike which you enjoy to the core even at the speed of 40-45.
If you want RE, you like it and want to own one for the passion of it, to get the feel of it, to ride entirely a different class of bike then go for RE else for the same price tag there are many technically superior bikes in the market.
Call is yours. Do let us know which steed did you choose finally.

I agree with your feedback.....
The day i booked 500cc STD, i had gone for booking electra.
When I entered, i was amazed with the looks of 500cc STD. It was like my dream come true..... I wanted electra with bigger tyre and retro look from rear....
And that is what 500cc STD had.....i fell in love with Forest green color....and booked that immediately....even though i have not done the the TEST RIDE yet....as no test ride vehicle is available till now.. :-(
Regarding 250GV, it will be launched in india in Feb Auto Expo, it is a two cylinder bike.... with 28bhp.... but since GT250 is 3.3L on road, i am not expecting it to be below 2L.... If it is below 2L, i will go for it(if it is assembled in india...as expected)....
I am totally inclined towards Bullet 500cc STD.....and waiting for it eagerly.....

Re: Enfield Bullet 500
Go for it, life isn't all about calculations. Passion is the key here, you are passionate about it then go for it and do not bother about niggles etc. Trust me it is more hyped than reality and above all the feel, the feel of Bullet is just unmatched and with 500 it is only going to get added to the cause.Originally posted by dising007 View PostTrue....
