Its like the engine stops for fraction of a second and then starts accelerating again. It does not happen when I accelerate slowly though. Has anyone faced this issue?
Regarding the engine noise, even I am facing the issue. When shown to the service guys, they say it to be 'bearing noise' and that it's perfectly normal. Anybody here having any other views on this?

Current odo 1500 kms yes my daily running is very less even after 4 months I am at 1500 kms.

My jupiter steering still pulls towards right from day 1 when i bought the scooter now after around 3-4 visits to asc i have stopped going and made my mind that it will pull. The svc people are not able to solve the issue. At least after 4 visits issue is still there but very less and can neglected as compared to day 1.

Due to engine stalling and engine was giving the feeling like there is no petrol when fuel tank was full my carb. was found culprit and changed under warranty.

I am overall satisfied with the jupiter, only this handle issue which keeps me bugging but i cant do anything else to it. Looks like i have to go to Asc of Allahabad which is 120 kms from Varanasi just for this.

P.s. i am also having the handle pulling left issue in tvs pep+ Asc not able to solve same as Jupiter. This was due to my fault which was accident.

Less than 7 months- 8000 Kms comes up.
During rain, a scooter in anyday better than a bike. It saves your pant, shoes and luggage/bagpack.
The thud sound under the foot board, while passing over a pothole, is more prominent now. Currently doing some hard riding(Accelerating fast and speed around 70-80 kmph). milege settling at around 47 kmpl. Will have to control my throttle. Click image for larger version

Bought My Red Riding Hood.....Jupiter via Whatsapp!!!! What

Started looking around for a twist and go scooter, for my mohalla commutes, mandir, dawa dukkan, sabziwala, just about some awaragardi. Did not consider anything else but the Jupiter, moreover had never ridden one, after waiting endlessly for a 150cc, twist & go scooter, checked the TVS site to get the Kanpur dealers, am based in Riyadh, the dealer near my house was super active, and we started communicating, with help from my man Friday Shankar, so in july before my vacation sent the check thru my wife who was travelling before me. Till then color was not decided, she liked the red and silver.

                thanks for reading

                enjoy the pics

That thud sound is a prominent issue. It's the center stand hitting the road/speedbreaker. I believe this is due to the design of the center stand.

You are actually right. The "Easy Center stand" has too many junctions and springs, that you need to lubricate it once a while( More during Monsoons). Did my 4th service yesterday, the mech oiled all the joints, and its almost alright now. The sound it very faint now.

TVS Jupiter Owners Review and Experience

                          Done with 5th service.
                          Odo: 6900kms
                          Service charges: 300₹/ service
                          Issues faced till date: None(touchwood)
                          F.E.: City Spirited runs- 40-45kmpl
Highway- 50-55kmpl( ridden in eco mode)
Completed a trouble free year with this scoot. It is a fill it-shut it-forget it experience till date. Services being free till now, the charges were only 300₹ per service. From next service it will be 300+350(paid service charges)+x. Ride, Handling and space is its main forte, performance is also good for 110cc. I generally use it to run errands across the town, and sometimes 30-40km runs maybe once a month. Overall, a happy customer. Its what i wanted, and it performs as expected.
Last but not the least, id like to mention the svc, priyanka tvs, panvel. They do a really good job.

                            200Km Update

Just loved my RR Hood, just needed a bahana to ride her, (my wife's opinion), at age 55 (which incidentally is just a number for me).

FEATURES - Loved the features especially the pass switch, which I use quite judiciously (you should see the faces of bikewala's first frowning then using their pass switch, as if to say hello-owww), more so if they are on the same side of the road - on a road divided road, kya yaar in kanpur its a done thing.

RIDE - It just sails over bad roads, telescopic front with gas charged rear dampers & 12" wheels do the trick.

HANDLING - To mimic a typical rumble strip followed by a pot hole, it just goes dhar, dhar, dhar, dhhish, no action no drama and the seat being soft does take care of your back.

LOOKS - The red color being rare looks good, and the matt black 12" wheels look sporty.

SERVICE - Completed my first service @435Km, paid Rs.290 for oil change.

                            Happy with RR Hood

An observation- Ride it at around 55-60 kmph, milege is around 50-52.
Ride it hard at 75-80 kmph for long, milega comes down to around 45 kmpl.
If you can, then ride at around 45-50 kmph, to get milege of 55kmpl easily. But honestly you cant ride it that slow.
Max kms done in a day- 300 kms.
300 kms in a day? On a gearless scooter? Now that's something great. I've a Jupiter too, want to know how it behaves on long runs. Seriously considering touring on it. How does it behave in highway? What was your average speed? Did the engine felt strained?

It is vibe free and engine doesn't feel strained until 75-80 kmph on the speedo. But it gets quite unstable in windy situations. I had some scary wind pushes and slowed down to around 65. Touring is manageable I guess but it will get pretty boring on long straight stretches of the highway due to lack of power.
