    Hey!
    Hari here from Goa,
I am a Car guy and a Bike lover. i own a TVS Jupiter which is 5 months old and has clocked 5k kms on ODO. Im a fan of cars that are fast and have precise handling. The Jupiter isnt quite the joyride interms of Top speed but sprints to 75-80kmph is quick! How can i get over those digits? If someone could suggest minor/major mods that can be done to improve Fueling, Handling, and also any lighting upgrades !

You get a donkey and expect it to perform like a pedigree race horse! Why!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Why do people buy a bike or scooter and cry out saying it isn't going above so and so speed? Come on mate.. Anything above 80 kmph on a scoot is very dangerous and unsafe.. This is the fact.. if you want something that will go above 80 kmph, go for a 150 cc bike.. why a scooter?

Meawhile, completed 5th free servicing at 12000 kms. Here they change the kit(air filter, spark plug and some bearings), which cost 320₹ extra along the ₹ 240 for the oil.
The front fairing was broken in an accident. Was replaced for ₹ 1040.
PS: Scooters are much safer than bikes during head on collision.

I understand what you are trying to say. But what I am trying to say is, if you want something more, get something bigger.. a test ride would have helped you choose before your purchase

I was in the TVS showroom couple of days back and noticed a new sticker which mainly saying as ''1 hour Express service'' promise..

                        See here:

1 hour service is very good for those who want the vehicle urgently or no time to come back again...!!

I have been driving an activa delux and a unicorn being fan of hondas smooth engines i doubted TVS Jupiter but the time i drove it for a short ride it was even smoother n more pick up than activa, comfy seat, light handling,OUTSIDE FUEL CAP, SPECIALLY MATTE COLOURS thats a true competitor n threat to Activas

Thibgs i wish had OPENING OF FUEL CAP without removing key from ignition may be just twist other way

I must mention another surprise was TVS WEGO best pick up in scooters yes even more than jupiter (at least i felt that way )

I just took drives of scooters as my Brother in law needed to buy a new one and i thought this experience might be considered by prospective buyers

Tvs Jupiter and Wego, both have same engine, same Power/Torgue, wheel size etc. Only change is that New Wego comes with Combi Braking system (they calls as "Sync Braking Technology'') which is still missing in Jupiter.!!

Wego I think, is around 6-7 kgs lighter than Jupiter, with same engine and sharp frontal design(aerodynamic). Hence the performance.

Well today i got to see JUPITER since it was delivered to My Brother In Laws Place and....
i talked poaitive in previous post now negative

                                1. Plastic used under the seat is flimsy UNLIKE ACTIVA'S HARD PLASTIC

                                2. Again the front section is whole plastic

                                3. A digital cluster would have been like cherry on the cake
