Actually i did much research on the same with diameter caliber scale in hand and almost checking each and every bikes forks diameter and fork distance. I found honda unicorn forks of exact match but distance between to forks is 4mm more than karizmas. So gave on that thought and decided to make custom one

    .
Option1: I tried replacing them with old karizma zmr clipons which have good height, but then brake and clutch lever will hit front fairing.
Option 2 : i tried to fit old karizma r handlebar bar base plate but old bike forks are smallers and fixed by top nut on forks so can fit that as well

Now im thinking of ising pulsar 135 clipons. Does anyone know what is pulsar 135 fork tube diameter?
Or anyone out there who can provide better solution, other than selling my bike 😅 cuz thats not happening as its my first bike amd dream bike.

Congrats buddy the bike really looks smashing. Love those dual tone colors. Even the ZMR with new dual tone colors looks quite cool.

Karizma r clipon to handlebar conversion

    Hi frnds,
I own karizma r 2014 with clip on handle bars

These clipon bars are too low as im a short guy and have to bend over bike which causes pain in my wrists, shoulder and back. 30km each day is ok, but cant really go for a long ride with stock clipons. I tried old zmr clipons but they hit my front faring at full turn on both sides. I thought of putting old karizma r plate and handlebar, but cant find a suitable handlebar with steep angle grips bend towards back to avoid hitting faring. Can anyone suggest when i can get direct clipons or handlebars manufatured as per my need.
I,m also looking for these handlebar in below picture

    They are too costly online
I live in Mumbai. Pls suggest.

My special edition 2014 Karizma r with cosmetic and performace ugrades

    Hi frnds,
This is my first time on any blog, so apologies in advance if there is anything wrong in this post.
I was one of the karizma lover from the time i saw advertise of hrithik roshan riding it with slogan "JET SET GO". I really did not knew anthing about motorcycle and engine that time, and i was in love with this bike only by its sporty looks.
After i took a ride of this bike of my frnd i started to convice my dad to buy one for me, but my dad couldnt afford one.when i started working i was trying to save money for atleast 4 years. By the time i saved enough money to buy one i got a bad news that production was stopped 6 months ago [emoji24] . Karizma r available in hero showrooms was 2014 version 2 and it really looked ugly, i even thought of buying used one, but buying a used bike wont have that newly bought owner feeling. I went to see other bikes in the segment other than pulsar, but all were in range of 1.5 lac to 2 lac. With my budget i couldnt even afford r15 or cbr 150, i had left with only 1 option that was gixxer sf. I went to suzuki showroom for quotation, i had all documents ready and all my frnds said its a good choice the day i actually went to book the bike with advance payment in hand, i just happned to stumbled at hero fortpoint mahim shop. I looked at the display bikes there and i saw karizma r 2014 with some different cosmetics, i went into showroom.
This was the bike that was displayed there. I relooked the bike, i kept circling around and just couldnt take my eyes off.

For some people it still maybe not that charming as that of version 1, but what i saw through my imagination that if this bike look so better with just a simple dual paint job, then there is potential to make it look even better.
I dont know why but i did booked the bike with racing performance kit upgrade and paint job, and dual colours of my choice.
They were also offering digital console and rear disc brakes, but i decided to stick with old analog console and rear drum brakes.

Thus is the bike that I own now hero karizma r 2014 and It includes a dual colour paintjob, aftermarket chain sprocket, mechanical abs, free flow exhaust, racing cdi, and rejjeting main jet needle. I have made few modification on my own which i will be explaing in my later posts.
Its been now 16 months since i bought this bike and even today its a head turner, leaving people confused which bike is it actually. Its engine is really a gem, and with new added power by hero, and aftermarket performance modification im able to keep up with pulsars and dukes.
Overall im a now really happy with the karizma that i own and it is really grown onto me.[emoji7]

If I am moving the bike in neutral or 1st gear then sometimes I hear a loud metal rubbing like noise coming from the rear also the rear wheel feels less stable than the front. I went to SVC to get it fixed but they only tightened and lubed the chain and did the regular servicing and nothing else. I will go to SVC for a second time but I am not really confident on the mechanics's abilities as I watched him struggle to open the side panel for air filter replacement also after coming home I noticed that he over tighned the dipstick and didn't fit the side panel properly as their are some gaps left. This is my first motorcycle and I had no idea that the SVC will be this bad, I fear next time they will fully screw up my Bike. Are all SVCs this bad or is it just hero ? Any ideas what could be wrong with the bike ? Are the rear brake pads dragging the wheel ?
    1. Check if the wheel is aligned properly. Easiest visual inspection would be seeing if the screw coming out at the end of swing-arm on both sides is of equal size.
    2. Check if the brake pads are not touching the pads.
    3. Check the rubber bushes inside the rear rim. There are 4 bushes and if they go bad, they'll cause resistance.
    4. All SVCs suck! Find a good local mechanic.

Now, coming to Motul - my ZMR didn't like it, didn't hate it. I anyways don't use any oil beyond 2200-2300 km, Motul 20w40 mineral lasted 1900-2000 km at max.
Also, Motul has a tendency to get burnt. While I'd lose about 50-60 ml of *other engine oils*, I was terrified to see only 800-820 ml coming out after draining Motul each time. I used it for 4 consecutive oil fills, roughly 7500 km. Once I moved back to Shell, it was all good again. I fill 1100 ml and get back 1040+ ml each time.

w50 grade may be too much for the bike, so stay between w30 and w40 only.
