Thanks but what are the symptoms ?Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostI know a few "experts" may disagree with me but, "Why fix it when it's not broken?" applies here.
If you happen to open the handlebar for some issue then you can inspect the bearings.
Pro-active maintenance should remain as maintenance and not repair. Sadly, the same experts change even engine internals and call it pro-active maintenance. That's called 'repair'.
10k is nothing if ridden well over not so bad roads. Chill for now.
I have not had to do any 'pro-active maintenance' on the handlebar of my bike except change the cone-set maybe twice IIRC so far.

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR (2014 version)
Guys help !! I am in turmoil - I have crossed 10,000 KM mark - and still now I have not greased my ball bearings on the handle bar - as per on internet base if your bike's handle is creating a noise or it is tight on some direction you have to grease it , but I have not faced any issues - so in which KM should I grease it
And
Secondly , what are the symptoms of bearings need lube - like what kind of sound or problems will arise if someone have not had greased the ball bearings .
Thirdly - will this greasing of the bearings be done at the svc ? or do I have to do it DIY ? has there any post or picture of karizma's racer ball bearings ??

buy from outside hero parts distributor ! they should have those - but while installing take your bike to the svc and not the local - svc will have the knowledge on which point to install the balancer - don't do it your self !Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostCan I get those wheel weight...I inquired at my SVC..but they do not have

I am going to do the drive chain adjustment tomorrow here is the process - PLEASE RECTIFY MY FAULT IN HERE - First time DIY - previously done from svc .
1. Loosing the axle wheel nut both side .
2. Loosing the lock nut both side .
3. Clockwise turn on the left side of mine to gain proper adjustment.
4. Clockwise turn on the right side of having the equal lines marked .
5. Locking the lock nut.
6. Locking the axle wheel nut.
Have I skipped any step ?? rectify please .
