Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
If you place your bike on side stand , then turn it on and start riding you will get wrong reading, it takes quite some time to give the proper reading.Originally posted by ashvns View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
It's common on fz. If you keep on side stand it will give you wrong reading. Always count on the kilometres after every fill inOriginally posted by ashvns View PostHello Everyone. I am facing fuel gauge issue in my Fazer. Sometimes it starts blinking indicating that it's come to reserve, then after sometime I start seeing 2-3 bars
Is it common to FZs or there is some problem and I need to replace fuel gauge

Thanks Rajdip & PrithviOriginally posted by Prithvirajmn8 View PostIt's common on fz. If you keep on side stand it will give you wrong reading. Always count on the kilometres after every fill in
I am now using centre stand and I am getting better fuel indication
However sometimes on the way it starts showing on reserve and after 20-30 mins one fuel bar would show then 2 bars start showing, really confusing

It is not recomended to empty your fuel tank on a fuel injected vehicle, as fuel pump running dry may cause issues.Originally posted by shakilskl View PostIf im compleately empty my fuel tank then any problems affect ??
i Want to check milage of my fzs fi
For checking mileage just do a full tank to full tank check.

There is an application in android
It's name is "fuelio" you calculate your milage using this app by filling full tank to full tank

Hi Everyone. My SVC told me to change clutch
However, I don't see any difference in bike performance, it's working as usual
Is there a way to find if clutch is really worn out and should be changed
Also, only clutch plate needs to be changed or the complete assembly

Does your bike feel sluggish and do you feel the pickup has reduced?

BTW on my fzs v2 whenever there is a bump I get a squeaking sound from the rear, sounds like when you sit on a sofa whose springs have gone kaput.Though the sound is so minimal and low that I dont hear unless I am really focusing.
Can this be due to the swingarm bearings though I dont have any vibration or bike pulling one side issue as you mentioned.
PS I have my preload adjusted to the hardest setting.

Thanks bro. It sounds like your bearings needs either greasing or replacement. Good luck.Originally posted by Rajdip Saha View PostThat was really informative. You have some good diy skills, keep posting more videos.

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Bike will do less speed compared to rpm it hits before. Say, a new bike goes 79kmph at 6k rpm with stock tyres & sprockets. Now, if the rpm is higher than 6k at 79kmph, then the clutch is slipping.Originally posted by ashvns View PostHi Everyone. My SVC told me to change clutch

Also, the gear shifting will not be smooth, a bit jerky.Regards
