I had a bulge on my rear tyre side wall which I noticed 1.5years later after purchasing the bike, luckily I got a replacement and did not had to pay for anything except the fitting charges.
Try to opt for mushroom puncture as it is much durable and safer. But the con is to do a mushroom puncture you will have to remove the rear tyre and do it and you will not find places easily where mushroom puncture is done.
I recently did a mushroom puncture on my rear tyre from MRF showroom , they charged me INR 100. They did the job so well that there is no mark of the puncture repair it looks like the tyre had never got any punctures before.
as of now mushroom puncture is not universally available in mumbai so the traditional tubeless repair is used am looking for a good tubeless repair kit which i can buy and keep for safety

As other members have already mentioned, that a puncture does not comes under guarantee or warranty.

Regarding a puncture repair kit, you can easily get it form flipkart or amazon or any other online vendor. It will cost between 300-400 Rs. It will come with a spiral file to clean the puncture hole, and a split end needle to force the rubber thingy inside the tire (don't know what that rubber worm is called). you will also get about 5 or 6 rubber thingys with the pack. You can always buy more rubber thingys from local puncture repair shops if you use up all in the pack. In some more expensive kits a long nose pliers are also provided to pull out the nail embedded in the tire. You will also need a hand or foot pump to fill air in the tire, otherwise the kit is of no use.

TO be honest I too bought one 4 years ago when I bought my R15, but 6 punctures later, I am yet to use it myself. The puncture was always diagnosed away form home (in office parking or in middle of commute), which led me to a shop and get it done. The rubber worms that came with the pack are still sealed, Lol. But it is a good thing to have in case of emergencies (if you do long tours), and 300-400 rupees is not that expensive. So better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Yesterday some moron have cut my rear seat with blade. I had stock seat with no seat cover so now the leather seat is having a medium cut through which water can easily go inside and damage the foam. Now please guide me what can be done? How much will it cost me a seat cover also in Mumbai i am not able to get double seat cover. Any possibility that I can get new stock rear seat from showroom or they can rebuild it? What will be the cost for all this? Really don't understand people mentality behind damaging others property god teach them a lesson soon

Yes there are morons in our country who do all this sorts of things. Something similar happened to one of my friend , someone scratched badly on his tank with a key or some sharp object.
Well I don't think ASC mends torn seats. You may visit any automobile seat repairing shop and remove the old rexine cover and replace it with a new one.I don't think it will cost much.

I tried installing once but there is very little clearance between the tyre and the hugger. I have even seen quite a few number of bikes in the ASC with the hugger on 140/70 tyre.
Although I would suggest to go for the short tyre hugger and the longer rear fender which comes with the new fz if you are planning for a 140/70 tyre upgrade. I have installed both and the rear now looks much cleaner with the chunky 140/70 tyre.

But fixing the short tyre Hugger's will cause heavy mud deposit at the mono shock absorber unit. that will not be a good thing for the bike.

Because my bikes shock absorber doesn't have single drop of mud deposit till date because of the fully covered tyre Hugger.! [emoji3] [emoji3]

I m not a fan of long tail unit of new fz V2 because it reduces the sporty look of the bike.

Well the short rear fender looks quite good too but that huge tyre hugger looks utterly ugly to my eyes and it drops down the sporty look of the bike even lower I removed it within 6-7 months after buying the bike. It completely hides the fat rear tyre .Even yamaha removed it in the newer version because it really looks ugly.

Coming to the rear mono shock there is no issue even it gets dirty as it is designed like that. All the bikes in this category the gixxer, hornet, r15s, x-blade or even the fz25, cbr and the r3 have short mudguard none of the bike have any issue. Even the fz v1 had the similar short mudguard.

Talking about mud accumulating on the mono shock, it all depends on how you maintain the bike my bike doesn't have any dirt on the mono shock even after putting the short mudguard the mono shock is still shiny as new that's how I maintain her. And it has been 2.5 years since I have replaced the huge mudguard I haven't faced any issue with the mono shock.

Where we have 6 months of monsoon season. Tyre Hugger is blessing to keep the bike clean.

It wont be an easy task, it will require a lot of modifications which may cost a lot and the drum variant also does not have mounts for the rear brake oil reservoir and the swingarm spacing on the rear disc variant may also differ from the drum variant.
You may ask this to the Yamaha ASC they would be able to clearly say that if the retrofitting job is possible or not.
I had asked this question on the gixxer thread as the gixxer has both the drum and disc variant and people there said this modification job is not possible on gixxer, so there are very less chances for the fz too. Still I would say you may ask the ASC guys once.

thanks for input, then i guess buying that blue colour bike with dual disc and changing it to my favourite black was cheaper solution compared to this [emoji57]

Ya that would had been better.
The thing is that the color of the bike with rear disc looks good but the graphics on it looks ugly to me.
Yamaha should offer rear disc on atleast few more colors variants.
