No I recommend Don't Try that because I Have Tried On My Bike And There Was An Issue Of Drop In The Engine Oil Level So. I Got That Issue On My bike With That oil So I Recommend To Try Semi SyntheticOriginally posted by Karthik Vp View PostThanks Bro.. can I try Motul fully synthetic engine oil? does it suits for my Yamaha FZ Version 2?

If not extreme testing of your machine it will easily last 6k+ kms. My bike has been consistently churning out 50+ kmpl. I drive in speeds between 70 to 95 mostly.Originally posted by Karthik Vp View PostHi Bro..
What is change interval for the fully synthetic oil?
How about the mileage on motul 7100?स्वभावो नोपदेशेन शक्यते कर्तुमन्यथा !

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Don't wish to debate or contradict. But I would point out that if Yamaha is willing to give 5yrs warranty for that oil grade then certainly there got to b a reason behind that. After all engineers at Yamaha or any company would do rigorous testing before making a official recommendation. No one wants a bad name for non reliable or non durable products.Originally posted by truelypulsarian View PostBut even if we use 15W 40 there is no harm.स्वभावो नोपदेशेन शक्यते कर्तुमन्यथा !

Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Iam not here to start DEBATE or any thing. I mean to say even if we use 15W 40 there is no harm for the engine because the later one 40 is important any thing less than the mentioned like 30 is not acceptable. How many of the people are still using the yamalube in their bikes? My bike has clocked more than 6K Kms. With that stock oil i used to face hard gear shifts rough engine all the time. By one of my friends suggestion i bought CASTROL POWER 1 and i have been using it from since a week i can feel the diference for sure. The gear shifts are much better now and also the engine is revv happy and doesnt scream like when it ran with that stock oil. Even many of my friends and neighbours who owns FZ stopped using the yamalube. Their bikes are very much fine with the odo readings more than 40KOriginally posted by S3maphor3 View PostDon't wish to debate or contradict.
